- This video is in response to an email I received from one of my subscribers. I thought a comparison video on both Winning and Fighting Sports professional boxing gloves had already been done but after searching UA-cam I couldn't find a video. So here it is, I hope you enjoy it.
You can purchase Winning boxing products here: www.winning-usa.com/
Fighting Sport boxing gear can be purchase through titleboxing.com - Спорт
The Winning gloves are leather. It's a different type sure, hence the smooth feel, but 100% leather is used for the pro training/fight gloves from 8oz-18oz. Synthetic is the default for Winning's headgear and protectors but they can also be made from leather upon request- check with Kazumichi if unsure
Nice side by side video review. Thank you for posting this.
@Thomas Dolesal Not as much as people think. About the same as the Everlast PowerLock and the Ringside Professional Gloves.
I've been using the fighting pro training gloves for about 12 years, and i like them. They obviously aren't as good as the winning, passing wise, but I've never had a problem with them.
The lining finally gave way in the right glove, so I'm going to get a new pair, but other than that, they are still great. They don't smell lol...
That’s great. I now have a few more gloves in my collection but still a fan of Winning 👍🏼
@@TrustDog winning are really good gloves, but I do Muay Thai for fun and have no desire to fight so I can't justify the cost of winnings.
do you feel winnings are too soft and have too much cushion around the knuckles?
The winning gloves are hella expensive but the fighting gloves are cheap like depends on where you get them
So I finally got around to carefully inspecting the Winning Professional boxing gloves and it looks like they are made of both a synthetic leather and leather. However, they are not 100% leather. I could not make out if the striking area is leather because the sewing or seams are sown very tight and I was not going to cut or make a tear on my gloves. Don't get me wrong guys, I really love Winning. This is just a comparison video of both glove manufacturers.
That's interesting
The leather on the fist side is a mix and the palm side is genuine leather which makes sense since synthetic does last longer and it will definitely take a pounding more on the fist side. Also some winning gloves are 100% synthetic and they usually are marked as such on the dealers product page and some are also 100% leather if customised as such but they current design does make sense in terms of practicality great review TDB!
@Chris Kruck. Well you get what you pay for. Winning gloves are the best.
Hey man its been since you made this video how did these gloves hold up thanks.
@@joshSmacknMouths Hey Josh Merry Christmas. The fighting gloves lasted about a year then started to fall apart. The tag around the wrist changed color and cracked. Then the inside started to lump. The Winning gloves are still holding up but the color on the knuckles is starting to fade and on one the inner lining is tearing. Winning gloves are worth the investment 😬👍🏼
i love the setup you did here. you gave fighting all of it's strong points until the end of the video when you broke down, in my opinion, what matters most. i like necalli/casanova gloves or reyes. in my aiba days we had to use adidas or top ten usually (hated both). isn't fighting title's rip off of winning?
Yes fighting’s are a low budget copy of Winning gloves but don’t come close to the quality of Winning. I also have Reyes and Casanova gloves which I love but they are heavier thank the Winning.
@@TrustDog yeah casanova/necalli are always off on weight and way off if they're velcro or hybrid. This one guy said his 14 oz hybrids weighed in at 16.7 oz! Idk why they don't make some corrections. I'm told they're used by many pros in Mexico but I can't verify that.
nb0616 Yes they are used by professional boxers in Mexico and around the world. One of the guys who I’m currently training uses 14 ounce Cleto Reyes for sparring and I used them in the past. We both love how they feel but they are heavier compared to Winning gloves.
@@TrustDog I spar in 14oz Reyes as well. I'm afraid I'll hurt someone in the Necalli's. If I ever found a guy that wants to hurt people in sparring I'd probably use them lol. But that's never really a problem at my club or any place I go to.
Fighting certified pro or title pro fight 3.0??
I don’t know. Currently using new pair of Winnings, and No Boxing No Life.
Yo wassup with the corner music bro? It's so annoying.
Wtf is "corner music"? That shit sounds like you wanna say something else. And respect greatness DJ Eric B. is legend.
I thought winning were genuine leather
winning are the best :)
Yes Sir!
Use them for a year and you will know why Winning is the best
Jack Ridge You only need to use them once and you know why Winning is the number one choice of the Pros 😊👍🏼
True that. They fit like no other. Other makers have been trying to find the foam( specially the top layer ) that Winning uses. Word is they are the top of the line car seat foam in Japan.
Jack Ridge Yeah there’s a lot of imitators. I get my Winning equipment from Winning USA in Redondo Beach and Mr. Kazumichi once told me that the materials they use were also used by aerospace companies. I don’t know if he was pulling my leg but they sure do feel great on my hands. I use them with lacenloop Velcro fasteners. Look them up on Amazon they great 👍🏼
fighting is also Japanese
I have winning (white navy) bought from America Ya and they look and feel like synthetic leather. Cleto reyes craftsmanship is also great. Fighting sucks. Sabas is better.
your wrong! Winning is hundred percent leather!
buddy are you drunk winning are 100% best leather
10 oz winning and 16 oz winning are not the same texture. the 10 oz glove is a fight glove. poor comparison withe the fighting gloves
Sorry for your misunderstanding, these are both 10 oz professional fighting gloves. Thanks for your input.
people that say winning padding is like a pillow are wrong too overrated i mean padding is good but for me personally aint nothing to write home about
You're right. The padding is similar to the Ringside pro fight gloves for those who want a better description but Winning gloves last longer.
+Trust Dog Boxing very true as they are made with super high quality care
Winning are leather, Idk what you're talking Bout lol
sound s like the dog is a dj hahaha
And mascot. LOL!
Fighting looks like a knockoff lmao. Like some fake ass jordans 😂😂😂😂😂
They are imitation, thats the point
notarealmmafighter437
Should be using them other way around.
winning makes at a pleasure to get punched in the face by
igor Lol 😂
