Very interesting and great engineering on you part. A long time ago I knew a bloke in Adelaide who customised XP falcons. He fitted a rack and pinion set up from an EA/EB falcon complete with the power steering and steering column. The front suspension was heavily modified with later falcon components. As I had an XP back then, he let me take this car for a drive and it was quite impressive, good steering feel and a faster steering ratio.
