Good to know. The garlic mustard has made it to my yard. My electric co-operative magazine says to pull it not cut as cutting causes it to spread.I was hoping it was edible. The other plant I don't recognize as something that made it to north ohio.

I knew that garlic mustard emits a chemical that prevents other native plants from absorbing the nutrients those selfish basstutds...lol I did not realize that it inhibits the growth of mycelium, which only stands to reason. I'm a mycophile so ima get a bit more aggressive against them now lol
    Great info all around, thanks.
I was looking to see if you were going to put some on bread and call it a "pizza" 😵😂

Thank you for all your information about mushrooms. What do you think about the latest mushroom coffee and teas with cordyceps, lion's mane, king trumpet, shitake, reishi, turkey tail, are these really beneficial health wise?

Every year, my local forest preserve has us uproot patches and patches of garlic mustard, but they keep coming back.

😢 the poor native plants going up against something that stops their growth is sad for me
