Wow! Don is brilliant love Ska (and Reggae, Bob Marley) was in my late teens when the 2nd revival hit the scene in 1979 and we could not get enough of it great times, and still love it to this day !
That's an amazing lesson, the teacher is born to teach. I'm not playing the bass , only playing with nylon guitars but I like Ska. Truly appreciated from Greece!
Big love for Don, he is my reggae bass hero, been learning from his incredible videos for years.👍♥️🎸♥️👍
I'll wish Don came back, real bass player of Reggae music.
Absolutely! Cheers! :-)
@@ebassguitar where is he?

Glad you enjoyed the lesson! Playing reggae bass lines with muted strings does add a unique tone. Keep grooving!

You're very welcome! All the best!
Hi mate I’m wanting to get into the reggae bass explosion course I can’t seem to find it , could you send me a link . Thank you much appreciated
It’s in the video description :-)
Any way of getting just the reggae course and not the whole package?
Soon.. stay tuned!
Timing (behind the beat) is crucial to the ska feel otherwise it sounds mechanical (and white)
Funny that you call ROCKSTEADY - SKA ;)
Maybe do your homework first please :)
But still a good vid :)
I’ll pass your comments on to don!
@@ebassguitar Please do it :) SKA = THE SKATALITES, (1957-62) rocksteady (62-67) = style between ska and reggae (67-and later. THX :)
Nonsense, the two tracks he used as examples are both Ska!
