  • Humans go by the name of Homo sapiens. How did our species come to be? How and when was human civilization developed? The fields that seek to answer these huge questions are anthropology and archeology. We will study the evolution of hominid species, as well as the remains we use to understand early human civilization. This will be covered as we look at biological anthropology, archeology, and cultural anthropology. Let's get started!

I like all kinds of science and history and theology too, not big on the numbers part of math and physics buy I do like to learn about astronomy but with physics you don't always need to understand the longhand formulas to understand the end result.
I pretty much read textbooks and watch documentaries for fun 😅 but I've got high functioning autism so in general, I'm a sponge for information. It's people I don't always understand.

@marcioamaral7511 math and physics are boring imo and you don't need to understand the inner working of a car to know how to drive a car as they say my only interest in math or physics lies in the bare minimum needed to understand astronomy. I don't need to know the math because there are other people to do it foe me. Again not that dissimilar from a car needing repaired and going to a mechanic.

    • @OmegafrazGaming

@marcioamaral7511 moreover history, mythology, theology, and philosophy, are my real strengths not science or math while I have a lot of knowledge on science I have limited math ability. And my science knowledge pales in comparison to my knowledge in the other category. In particular I'm interested on Asian and European history and mythos I know some American history an mythos but I find the history of the others to be alot more rich and interesting. You only need to look at their architecture and culture and compare it to ours and ours seems so plain by comparison.

Anthropology was always very interesting to me. I often wish i went to college for science I'd love to do EEGs, MRIs, etc on people from the worst inner cities in America vs. Suburbs vs. Farmland. Im cyrus how our brain chemistry changes with our environments. I'd also like to compare people from San Francisco/Seattle/Portland to people from say Biloxi, Tuskegee, and alpharetta or something. Like bible belt vs. Deep blue cities. I trulyv think that your environment will effect your brain in certain ways. Political anthropology I suppose?

So many misander anthropology, it's the study of race which is a numeral basis of 1/3. Humans are categorized as soid, goid & loid. When synopsized by color it's white, black & yellow. Yet there are dolts who think that an ethnic nationality I.e "Mexican" fits into race. It is in no facet a race, it's 'mestizo' meaning a combination of soid & loid (white & yellow) ; the white being of Spaniard origin & the yellow being native-injun which itself is color-labeled as red. Numbers & colors. 💯

Discovering color blindness, was a paradigmatic change.
Color was considered outside the mind.
    Is this correct?
Both psychology and anthropology became formalized.
How the individual and societies construct reality.
    My intro was....
    I read a book called M.
An anthropological evaluation of humans from the perspective of a gorilla.
    He listed human myths.
Followed by Pre Columbian anthropology. Through the fiction of Carlos Castaneda.
