- A 20 minute walk through the large S446 bunker at the top of the mountain Lerberen in Ørland, one of the largest types of bunker the Germans built in Norway. This was the command bunker for the tripple cannon at Austrått: en.wikipedia.o...
No stupid music, no shaky cam, good light and no rush. Very good work. Thanks !!
You mean no 'stupid loud' music that you can't hear a word. 10-4 on that big buddy.
Nice video. Good work with the Lighting. A lot of these videos being uploaded People forget how important good lighting is. It really does make a difference.
That is truly a giant complex, complete with generators still in place and not scrapped. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I was really happy to get the chance to explore it when I found it open.
Big thanks for sharing this adventure with us.
So glad you found tbis place open and filmed it ab absolutely amazing place and thank you for sharing. Most people will never see a bunker from the outside never mind inside and in such good condition. My favorite bit was that generater i bet there will be a date on it somwere.
Thanks, it was definitely a highlight among the bunkers I've explored
tyrone english looked like an old Mercedes Diesel engine.
Starting from Rolleiflex cameras as a kid (the best then, my dad had 2) I have had this high respect for German engenuity. It has not diminished one iota watching these fine vids. The detail! No $$ shortcuts, stuff - still - working!
Amazingly its still intact, however, there is some new electrical hardware like what is looking a digital electric meter at 5:18? and other panels are well shown later in the vid, am assuming this bunker was still in use by the Norwegen army after the war.
Yes, it was indeed used to some extent by the Norwegian army after WW2
Most original equipment I’ve seen in a bunker before, very cool bunker. I’m assuming this one is really secured and locked up tight all the time
Godt filmet!
Must have been used after WW2, too good condition ,
wow and no grafiti
Seriously impressive! I started off board because no one was talking, but theni could not stop watching! Was a lot of this bunker above ground? Hard to believe that there is so much stuff laying about. Was this used after WWII? Lastly at the end you took us into a cave. I got excited! Yeah man! Lets keep going!! Did you get scared?
Way too short, lets see more! Good job on the video.
SJ
The cave at the end is where I started at the beginning of the video, so that was the entire bunker I'm afraid :-) The bunker was used a bit by the Norwegian army after WW2, but for the most part it's been sitting unused/abandoned. You can see some of the outside in this video: ua-cam.com/video/-64t6lxajk4/v-deo.html
i dont care what the world thinks of germans but it seems to me that they really capable builders
Great video,well filmed,👍🏻
All that effort, all those materials, all that manpower. The idiocy of war.
Stephen Thomason unfortunately at the cost of slave labor whom thousands probably died to build ;( (That’s why it’s so important to preserve these sights because literally these walls and tunnels can talk. They are memorials)
Awwesome bunker looks like it would not take a lot to get it all up and running its even got central heating, i wonder how far down the water went in the room at 1.50 as it look like there are steel steps at the door way ?thank you for sharing
Thanks, Yeah I was pretty stoked about finding it unlocked. I think the room with the water was a cistern. You can kind of make out the bottom, at least I could when I was actually there.
Thank you so much for your efforts this was an unbelievable bunker all it's doors and it's generator wow hope they keep it from getting tore up by idiots with spraycans and the like. Thanks again top shelf.
Wow!! This bunker is awesome!!
Wow, this place is fucking massive. How did you not get lost? And weren't you afraid going so deep into an unfamiliar, abandoned, dark place?
the bunker had more than what a house had in it.in them days people still had out side toilets .the germans were good builders .
Love Love :)
wow, thanks for the video, where is it in norway this one ?
Nope, unfortunately not. The nearby Austrått fort with the tripple canon from Gneiseneu (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrått_Fort) is a museum, but this bunker which is situated a couple kilometers away and was the command center for the canon, is more or less abandoned. It's locked and there's no general access, but that is about all the maintenance it gets. A couple of years ago, someone broke into it and lit up a tire fire inside there, so I don't know what the condition of this place is toyda.
génial !! merci pour ses images
fantastic cement work
AMAZING!
all of these underground bunkers can be refurbished and can give some of the homeless a break........ instead of constantly being hassled by cops
Impressive.
This is by no means the largest types of bunker the Germans built in Norway.....
Oh hey I literally live less than 5 mins from this place on foot :D Been there tons of times, its a fantastic place. For those who believe in the more spiritual side however...its THICK with activity, I literally become nauseous when I enter the bunker from all the negative energy in there.
Perhaps the black mould in places?
The generator is worth a fortune ( 3HK65 Junkers counter piston diesel engine) especially with the original Switchboard. I am sure it would be possible to get that thing running again making electricity: ua-cam.com/video/JwQ2GW7-Qks/v-deo.html
Nazis didn't have florescent lights as seen at 16:30. Otherwise, interesting vid.
It was the command bunker for among others, this fortress: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austrått_Fort The fluorescent lights are probably from the reuse by the Norwegian army after the war.
Didn't realize the allies left any German bunkers intact after the war, espescially in good enough condition to be repurposed.
endless possibilities
Hei.
Not all of the gear left here is 1940s era . Was this used afterward?
Yes, it was used by the Norwegian Army after WW2
From around 3:40 into it you can hear lots of talking.
What's that's about ??
Nah, there was only me there so no talking :-) Sounds like I stepped on something on the floor.
Wow you so lucky
Amazing the Germans had time to build such things.
Was definitely used in the Cold War but great video. Would love to know what the Nazis used it for and what NATO used it for during the Cold War !!!
It was the command bunker for the huge 28cm triple cannon battery at Austrått: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austr%C3%A5tt_Fort and also staff bunker for the facilities of the surrounding area.
Did you find this bunker?
Huggs,silky
+silky says No the bunker itself is common knowledge but it's not normally open/accessible.
Holumen It looks immense! I thought you might get lost. Thanks for rply.
Huggs,silky
Probably lots of German ghosts / spirits around.
Filmet før brannen tydeligvis.
I hope you found your way out . 😆😆

It is sad to see this German bunker in such conditions
After the war it must be used from the Nowegenearmy
Why is this Bunker not be saved for further Generations
What a shame
the Video was a documentary of this
Artefakt
But the title of the Video was not good a building cant be a Nazi
People and goverments can be Nazi
And for you understanding not all Germans were Nazis not in the past
And not now
Yours Frank
No, a building obviously do not hold any political, religious or whatever beliefs. However, the bunker was unquestionably built by the Nazi regime governing Germany and occupying large parts of Europe during WW2. It was also not built by any individual person, so whether the all Germans were Nazis or not is irrellevant. It was built by the Nazis and it's origins are Nazi Germany, hence "German Nazi bunker" is a reasonable way to explain this point.
@@Jerazol so as you say it is build by the order of the goverment of Germany and that Goverment were Nazis
The people who build this Bunker dont have to be Nazis and a building cant be a Nazi only persons can be Nazis so the Termin German Nazi Bunker is totaly wrong
It is a Bunker build by people under the order of the German Goverment and this people you can call Nazis
Viewing 2 screens is not worth my frustration
huh?
What are you on About????
