Maybe so. But we have done it to ourselves and are trying to convince ourselves that we have no part to play in our own demise. Pinning everything on China completely negates 50 years of neglect in our own societies that has absolutely nothing to do with China. Nah, it only reaffirms our suspicion about the origin of Coronavirus. It was manufactured in the laboratory with the sole intention of spreading it throughout the world and stalling economies of western countries. The economic numbers coming out of China are true. They aced whilst we suffered. Time to unite and held them accountable for their genocidal program. They have become a bigger and unstoppable monster since last year. Trump, despite his flaws, tried his best to put a brake on China's reckless acceleration to the top but failed miserably. Don't even think Biden would follow his predecessor's china policy. He is weak af.

As a Japanese, I would like to emphasize that the peaceful rise of China should not be an issue in itself.
In the East Asia, there is a concept of "the position each should occupy," and Japanese, Chinese, Koreans each have own desired position in the world.
From I can see, Chinese are clearly dissatisfied with their current position,
While this is the driving force behind their development, and it is also leading them into dangerous behavior.
In the past, We Japanese had mistaken idea that we could gain the respect of the world by conquering and subjugating other nations. But now we know that exporting peaceful industries and economies can satisfy our desires much more easily and honorable way.
We think that they can reach the same decision, but through less pain.
So, Chinese efforts to go to other countries (including Taiwan) should be curbed.
But we should not limit the Chinese people's efforts to "become rich and take an honorable place in the international community". We should help them do so.

China crush riots in Hong Kong. Riots which was literally destroying the city, brought it into recession and killing innocent bystanders. I don't know of a single country in the world that doesn't put down violent protests. And WTF occupation of Hong Kong. Hong Kong is literally part of Chinese territory. You mean to tell me China invaded and occupied China?
On the trade war it was a direct reaction to US sanctions on China. China didn't start it, it was reacting to it
The same happened with Australia. China didn't start a trade war with Australia until after the Australians, banned Huawei from doing business with them and led and international call for the banning of Huawei worldwide, form a military alliance with US Japan and India to target China, led the call to attack China on human rights and finally the only point you mentioned, call an investigation on the COVID-19. China started the trade war in reaction to hostility against it.
The only contentious one is India and even that is debatable. The Chinese were building structures on their own side of the border before the clash happened and according to the Prime Minister of India himself, Chinese troops never cross the Indian border meaning it was the Indians who invaded them.
Every action you cited was literally China acting in defence but somehow, China evil

Broaden the picture....soo the horizon is more clearer. In June 1981....the US and China agreed on economic cooperation. Remember World War 2....was mainly caused by Germany...Japan...these countries were seeking prosperity through conquest of other nations resources. That is why the Soviet Union and China and many other nations suffered enormous human tragedies. The US didn't want to be in these type of conflicts and most definitely sacrifice millions of sons and daughters. Soo....Japan got what it deserved. Now that we live in a world of weapons of mass destruction. Cooperation is the only way to move forward.
China got that from the US....the last 35years US...Canada...Australia have been shipping enormous amount of resources to China....giving China the ability to become the world's factory. But unfortunately China is practicing authoritarian rule on other entities.....something Americans feel.....aiding by empowering.
So.....those who supported Trump....and Biden understands...is that Americans no longer feel that it is necessary to weaken America more than it is. The people want their standard of living back. Soo...Biden new economic agenda is.....THE FUTURE WILL BE.....MADE IN AMERICA.....
like what TRUMP supporters wanted.....AMERICA FIRST...
Remember in order to have a great economy.....you must have the resources. The world goes to China because America shipped over 75% of its manufacturing and industry overseas.....that is going to be reversed in the coming years. But not because China is the biggest economy of the world and America feels weak....But because US can't keep sacrificing it's standard of living. China is where it wanted to be since it's economic cooperation with the US started in 1981. The US achieved it's purpose.....a prosperous China... will not ever find it in it's best interest to wage War for prosperity.......cooperation is a lot better. The world will only solve it's problem through progress and problem solving....especially when nations work together. This US is weak.....is not more than silly talk. China has 1.4 billion people to tend to....and it will be a bigger economy than the US....for that reason. The US will have an economy for it's 330 million people....lesser population than China means a smaller economy than China......soo stop the silly talk....and be more Educational.
In the US 10% of the people are just plain stupid.....The Capitol raid......let's really educate.

      a) the protocols put in place for stopping the spread are to save lives when they have detained millions of Uighurs who will die in their concentration camps
      b) it started there from unsanitary practices and a lack of regulation

It only sold 6 million units when competitors like Nokia and Blackberry were selling 10+ million. He was only wrong if you incorrectly frame it to mean the entire product line as it evolves over the year which is obviously dishonest.

Everyone thought the Soviet Union would take over the world too.
China's political power depends on it's economic strength. Its economic strength depends on global trade. Global trade depends on continued access to raw materials, sea lanes and end markets.
China controls none of these. Unfortunately for them the US and it's allies does. China trades with the world because the US, Japan, India, and Singapore allow it to.
If conflict ever arose China loses access to middle eastern energy because their oil tankers get seized in the Straight of Malacca.
Things would start to unravel very quickly for them thereafter.

It’s a race against time just like the Japanese but with a malicious government and on a quicker timeline. The reasons the government is getting a stricter grip through surveillance, genocide of the Uighur minority and social credit scores is so that the population won’t revolt as soon. They know it’s a matter of before the harm of human rights violations and overall unhappiness outweigh the benefits of what economic growth they see.

China has certainly made a lot of progress, with out a doubt. However I must say I am disappointed with your lack of rigor in looking at China’s economic data, and due diligence on some of the info you included. Normally it’s quite good. For next time, here is what should’ve been looked at more closely:
    - Both productive and unproductive investments are factored in GDP in China, DESPITE the fact that unproductive investments do not contribute to economic growth. It’s overinflated by the trillions.
    - Regional / provincial govts in China have been proven to have largely over reported economic data because they are incentivized to do so.
    - International institutions are forced to use Chinese economic data in their reports because the CCP makes it impossible for them to collect it themselves. So their data is often tainted as well.
    - It has been proven that there are still HUGE pockets of rural extreme poverty in China and that the CCP has covered up.
