    Thanks for this, I work remote and my internet was super unreliable, until I got that thing from you guys. 10/10.

    Nice price point on this one! We could not work full time while boondocking without our Pepwave setup.

      Yes and with it coming in at 50 less than the mk2 with faster throughput and 3 years of warranty/primecare its a welcome surprise from everything else in this world being more expensive these days! Thanks for checking us out!

    With the wan feature unlocked (added price), are you able to bond the wifi with the data sim? Or is this router just using only one source at a time?

      The advanced feature pack unlocks the ethernet wan as well as the failover and Speedfusion functionality so it can bond cellular, wan ethernet and wifi as wan as needed into a single unified connection. Great question!

    Have you actually attached a Starlink to the wan port?

      yes, we have a detailed video from our founder who does this here: mobilemusthave.com/blogs/peplink-starlink/peplink-starlink-reliable-internet?_pos=1&_psq=starlink&_ss=e&_v=1.0

    Looking to move on from a 3 year old Netgear Nighhawk M1. Will this be a nice upgrade from that?

      This is a great question to reach out to us on chat about! This device does have pros and cons compared to the NightHawk.

    Is this an upgrade at all over the BR1 MK2? I have that model currently and my parents are looking to add one to their RV too. Not sure if it would be worth selling mine to them for cheap and purchasing this one myself or if they should just pick this one up themselves.

      Yes. This is the replacement for the BR1 MK2. This the Wifi as Wan is upgradable option with this model.

    I am a long haul truck driver I am not technical at all will this thing being easy to set up? And would I be able to take the Sim card out of my iPad and put it in this device or would I have to buy a new data plan? Thanks

      This device is easy to setup and we have lots of guides with videos to help set up. That said, this is a hotspot device so in most cases tablet plans are not compatible.

    if it doesn't have WiFi wan or the wan port open then your only option to get online is over the sim card? no option for bonding or anything so it'd basically an expensive 4g modem?

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave Рік тому

      You can open wifi-as-WAN with a license. If you are looking for bonding, I would suggest one of our more expansive modems like the BR1 Pro!

    Would this work for home internet with an unlimited data plan? Also can i put my own sma antenna on it? We have 1 bar of signal but direct line of sight to the towers about 15 miles away so i think a high gain directional antenna should fix that and make it work here

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave 2 місяці тому

      Hello! Thanks for reaching out! So, the unlimited data plan would depend on if you could get a hotspot data-only SIM card from your provider. If you have T-Mobile or Verizon Home Internet, it may not work directly, but you would have to confirm with them to know for sure. Alternatively, you can connect the home internet gateway to the Peplink router through the WAN port. This would allow you to bond the signal with another data plan installed in the Peplink router and a wireless connection through Wifi-as-WAN as well.
      Yes, as long as your antenna has SMA connections, it should work just fine! If you did need to upgrade your antenna, I'd recommend the Poynting XPOL Directional Antenna: mobilemusthave.com/products/xpol-2-5g-us-5g-600mhz-high-gain-cross-polarized-lte-mimo-antenna?_pos=1&_psq=directional&_ss=e&_v=1.0
      Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, reach out via email at info@mobilemusthave.com and we'll be happy to help!

    Do your products work in Canada????

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave 2 роки тому

      They do! You will need to find a canandan cellular plan for them but almost all Cananda network bands are supported, and this is a north american skued product.

    interesting. how is this one compares to AT&T nighthawk m6 pro MR6500 ? similar price, and the nighthawk is capable of 5G, and is portable, so you can take it with you to a trip in the nearby city.

    • @MobileMustHave
      @MobileMustHave 2 роки тому +3

      The nighthawk is a decent consumer grade device designed for portable use but lacks the build quality for 24/7 use which is why the majority of our customers move to business class devices like this one for a stable and reliable connection they dont have to think about. The max br1 pro 5G would be a device more comparable to the modem in the nighthawk if max throughput was your primary concern. That said if occational use and portability are on your wishlist id say the nighthawk is a great choice. If your looking to leave it on 24/7 and not reboot it daily, consider a business class router like this one or the 5G capable Max BR1 Pro 5G.

      I also have an MR5200 and a complete line from Pepwave (Balance20x.) Netgear makes a great hotspot, and I use it to access 5g bands myself but because off the shelf the MR5200 does not support 4x4 MIMO and Band Locking, nor does it have speedfusion cloud bonding or external WAN management its a bit hard to say its an apples to apples comparison.
      I use Pepwave to manage my 3 WAN connections, both internal to the pepwave and via third party devices like TMobile Home Internet.

    The card with the QR code does not tell you everything you need to know for setting up. My LAN don't work and The sim card is not activated. Not much explained on these features.
