Xiao Se probably cannot turn down Qianluo since she is the one in love with him but Xiao Se being with is like a bestie thing more than cp.....Xiao Se never forgets to rembr about Wuxin thoughout the whole drama...Wuxin is his soulmate that he even dreams about him. And the special ep when he went to meet Wuxin in the mountain to fulfill their promise further proves he wants to be with him. He gets easily worried when Wuxin is hurt and vice versa. They r the true cp of the show.
I further want to point out the small details....when Wuxin first saw Xiao Se he instantly felt like he had found his soulmate....he asked him that he wants to go somewhere with Xiao Se ....when Xiao Se said no that time Lei Wujie stopped him from taking Xiao Se from him. Then only Wuxin said it's ok if Lei Wujie wanna tag along. Wuxin felt in first sight 🤭

If they were a couple then the drama would’ve gotten more hype, anyone can see it that they love and for each other very deeply. I checked the novel just to be sure if it’s a bl or not but I sadly Xiao se got engaged with qianluo, I’m was sure that the novel would end with them getting married and possibly having child if they really loved each other, but it ended with them only getting engaged, so I’m sure the authors was hesitant mainly cause of the Xiao se an wuxin bromance. But then again it doesn’t matter if Xiao se and wuxin have romantic feelings or brotherly feelings because we all know they are soulmates😍 Tho it would’ve been nice if they had romantic feelings for each other but we don’t it🥹
