Kupp was like 90% of the offense after Odell went down he really was the MVP
Him and Stafford. Stafford probably would have won it if it weren't for the defensive holding and dropped passes in the second half that was uncalled as well as that deflected INT, but given the circumstances, Kupp definitely deserved this.
Cooper Kupp made Odell's 2 mins of fame possible and still outshone him.

@@animeshgandhi1551 Idk if he had a choice. He had Beckham out, and Van Jefferson had defenders committing DPI against him that was uncalled. He also had to deal with some dropped passes including a deflected INT to a non-Cooper Kupp receiver that wasn't his fault. He had a heavily deflated stat line to how he actually played.

You read my mind, but I'm dead serious! Watch the DBS, they chase receivers down the field with their back to the QB. Common sense tells you that if you do that, the only way you will know that the ball is coming towards the receiver is when he reaches for it with his arms. The DB doesn't have a prayer of intercepting the pass because he cannot use hand and eye coordination with his back turned. One day I was wondering why 80-90 percent of the DBS do this? then I was listening to Louis Riddick (A former DB and current ESPN analyst), he said that this is what they are taught by their coaches. This doesn't reflect game IQ because the receivers with average level skills (let alone guys like Cooper Kupp, Davonte Adams, etc...) will abuse you.
Should’ve won the regular season MVP as well I keep saying this since the season ended. Triple crown and most YAC in the entire league. Amazing route runner that carried this offense.

The 2nd TD is just a work of art. Game is on the line but stays patient. Beautiful foot work, drops the foot behind to shift his weight and sell the fake inside, and once he knows he's got the advantage gets his head around quick but doesn't rush his route. Keeps pushing forward to hold the corner in front, turns and elevates, adjusts midair to catch w/ his hands secures it to his chest and reels it in. Just incredible.

I believe Kupp had the best and most successful season for a wr. Dude almost had 2k yards, led in rec yards and tds, and won OFOY, Super Bowl, and Super Bowl mvp. Dude is a beast and a game changer! He is the Rams’ best player. He is the current best wr in the league.
While I agree that Kupp is a beast, and he's had an amazing year. Aaron Donald is their best player, hell he's one of the best defensive tackles of all time.

growing up in Bellevue watching UW and the Seahawks miss out on this kid makes me laugh actually. These two teams are all about speed and nothing else. Where are the two draft picks the Seahawks took instead of the hometown hero. Such a huge fail Pete. I think it's time we move on actually.
His feel for the game is simply unparalleled at the moment. Living proof as to why HS recruiting is overrated. Just look at him, Josh Allen, & Davante Adams to name a few. All three are the elite of the elite at their respective positions. 178 catches 2,425 yards & 22 TDs all in 21 games is just downright INSANE & he simply elevated his play in the playoffs. A season for the ages. The People's MVP. Dude definitely deserves all the recognition for his success.

He wasn't recruited because he was a white boy, it's reality. I know people avoid the topic but if he was black and put up the same numbers in high school he woulda been recruited by every school
He studies the game more than any other NFL player.
I’ve been rooting for Kupp since 2018. The injury which caused him to eventually miss out their last SB, his wife’s work ethic to support him, his own work ethic, they all make me want to support him that much more. Everyone knew he was getting the ball, and he still found a way to get open. No woods obj or higbee. No real run game. That last drive cemented his worth to the team all season and capped off the greatest season by a wr of all time. The only “bad” game he had all season was when they routed the cardinals in the first game of the postseason, he was huge in every other game without failure. Slot receiver or not, absolutely deserved the MVP of the regular season, shame that quarterbacks get so much bias. OPOY and SB MVP are pretty great though.

The last time the Bengals lost in the Super Bowl, the Super Bowl MVP was a wide receiver too. They were beaten with a come from behind touchdown too. In the three trips the Bengals have had to the Super Bowl, they're 0-3 but they weren't trounced each time. They lost Super Bowl XVI by 5, Super Bowl XXIII by 4, and now Super Bowl LVI by 3.
...and just think that was the Super Bowl in 1989. So they lose 33 years later against another team from California. All I have to say is "remember how many QBs the Bengals went through to finally get one that is good? Wow, this is why I think teams fire the wrong person when they don't win. Start with the scouts and go from there.

Cooper Kupp is good. But if any of you really played football, you would have noticed that half of those plays he had linebackers on him. I counted a good 3 plays out of the 6-7 plays. He is small and very fast but if lined up as a true WR, he would never accumulate those stats he has. The “slot” is not the same as a true outside WR spot. Those who know, know 😎
