as someone who has in the past 5 months lost 7 people I love, those people including both my great grandmas, both my great grandpas, step grandpa, a best friend to suicide, and my grandma who recently lost her battle to cancer this hits really hard. thank you JVKE for helping me realize I’m not the only one who feels like they are losing people who you love. I hope for anyone who has not experienced or witnessed what other people have, I wish you peace. And if you have witnessed something like this I wish you peace of mind and mental health. ❤❤ this song really makes the feelings hit hard and I love that. It brings out the real me and my real feelings. It’s nit healthy to bottle them all up. Don’t forget to spend every moment that you can with your family and friends, you never know when they will be gone. I’m 14 and I know my parents are not going to be gone soon, but you never know when you will lose someone, or never be able to ask them questions for the last time, take the last photo, share the last laugh, see the last tears, and share the last memories with them. DONT take time for granted!! Remember people leave and go somewhere better, but you still feel like you could do something about it. It’s not your fault. Six years have passed since I lost my father and I'm doing fine, but sometimes I feel that their is an empty space left inside my heart since then. I don't know how to fill that empty space but one thing that I know is that the older I get the more I miss him everyday. This song hits really hard for me, which is honestly quite surprising considering the fact that I've been lucky to not have to grieve of the loss of someone close to me. My grandfather died today three years ago. I never thought that I would miss him *this* much. He was a world war 2 survivor. If he'd still be alive, I'd ask him all the questions like: How was world war 2 like? How was life like in 1968? But I was too young and too shy to ask him those questions. I'm Malaysian but he's the only person in my family that speaks English with me. He had a very special place jn my heart. He was a good man.

i feel all the pain in this song. i lost my aunt a few years ago, back then i was young and stupid and never cherished my time with her. when i reflect on her i can feel the radiance of her joy inside of me, yet it makes it hurt more. it hurts that i had the chance to experience such happiness right there at my finger but i never made the extra effort to grab it. now that she’s gone. i can only slap my self in the face and punch the wall out of frustration. she was such a big person to everyone who knew here and you can tell because it effects them every day. i really do wish she was here.

This song hits pretty close to home right now because just 2 days ago, we got news that my brothers best friend passed away. What is even sadder, and more haunting is that my brother was the one who called 911 and was on the phone with him right after his friend had tried to end his life. My brother was the last person to talk to him and try to help him before he left this world. I was never really close to him, but he was a very kind person and had a full life ahead of him, graduating college, becoming a firefighter, getting married, and living life to its fullest. My heart breaks at the fact that he will never come over during the summer to play the newest games that they were waiting for, play D&D in his garage with his friends, and come over and stay up all night watching the new Stranger Things season. If you know someone struggling with depression or mental health issues, help them as soon as possible and get them the help they need so they don''t devastate everyone around them with their loss. RIP Matthew, and thank you JVKE for making this song to help with grieving. ❤

I’ve been going through depression and my dogs helped me through it, but when they passed away it brought me to my lowest. I don’t think I’ve ever felt that sad before and when I heard this song, it reminded me of all the great memories I had with them. i lost my kitten when its about 5 days old because it was smaller than the other kittens, i mean a lot, it can even move, but not much, it was also weak, so it survived while its still stillborn, but 5 days later, i woke up and i realized that it wasnt there, i approached my sister and asked "why isnt the small kitty here?" and she said "it's gone forever" i didnt know what the reason is, maybe its from its small appearance compared to the other kittens, miss you kitty, have a fun time with god in heaven 😭

Private and unique just for the two of you. Keep that in mind. If our lives wasn’t this important, our beloved Lord hadn’t given Himself in change!
