In the lesson, this higher ability group look at greater than, less than, and equal to, with calculations.
The class is split into groups, and the higher-ability children compare calculations with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and fractions, whilst the rest of the class is split into three subgroups comparing calculations using symbols.
