Gabriel's incompetence is really getting to me. He acts like a fucking genius in one episode and in the next he is just the most laughable joke ever. This "the closer he gets to winning the dumber he becomes" bullshit has been going on for too long, at this point, Gabriel Agrest, the fashion designer, is more intimidating than Monarch, the guy with literally all the powers in the universe.
Even Vlad masters from Danny Phantom feels cringe seeing Gabriel.
Wasn't it said outright that having multiple miraculous at the same time for extended periods makes you go crazy? Grabrial is speed-running insanity gain.

This season 5 getting more stupider than ever and I hate the fact I'm still enjoying it! XD
But i can assure you, they really dumped all the stupidity in the first 3 episodes, and the others we got so far (Jubilation, Determination, and Passion) have been good. At least it doesn't give you headache

@@anonymouswolfemale3557 I agree. What we needed between the reversed love-square was a period of just developing the characters' friendships. It feels to me like they just did a 180. It still bothers me what they did with Kagami and Luka, those relationships could have been a nice change of pace.
Ladybug didn't think Monarch would actually go as far as to get cataclysmed to escape so she thought she had him right where she wanted him and she could take all the time in the world to take his Miraculous.

Oh so, a french animation studio is on the case now? I feel very confident about this, France is known to be competent in animation (just look at all the ESMA shorts for example), this is a good sign.
I will never truly agree about Marinette being truly responsible because the power of boners is what lead to Gabe getting the other miraculous.
No one agrees with this and there are circumstances that make sense when leading to Ladybug being beaten but there's a heck of a lot of other calls in this series and running into Adrien's exact clone isn't one of them. There's two things that bug me.
1.) Marinette reveals EVERYTHING to Felix including what her yoyo does where the portal leads, her two most powerful miraculous.
2.) She couldn't just use the dog Miraculous herself. As of the events of Kwamibuster they shot themselves in foot. Marinette can clearly handle with some mild discomfort multiple Miraculous and apparently becoming Guardian gave her some boost where unification is not a big deal much more adding the Dog's ability. She could have just did all of this alone with Felix/Adrien.
At 5:36 THAT WOULD BE SUICIDE! She doesn't know the layout of his lair, she'd be trapped by him! It be 1 vs. a megalomaniac with all the Miraculous in _his_ hideout that he knows all the ins and outs of! And if Chat Noir didn't jump into it in time, she'd _STILL_ be screwed! She's smart, but he beats her in height and physical strength! She's _still_ a teen, he's an adult!

Mnie najbardziej zastanawia, dlaczego Monarcha zamiast skierować kotaklizm na szczęśliwy traf, którym go unieruchomili woli skierować go na własną rękę, to jest po prostu głupie. Tak w ogóle to Marc używając mocy koguta nadał sobie moc super zwinności i dzięki niej za każdym razem trafiał w bramkę. Specjalnie sprawdziłam odcinek xD

I think I can explain the (occasional) bounciness for Ladybugs Ribbons!
In 3D modeling, there are bones like our bones. Those bones can be anything, extra limbs, fabric, etc. If it moves, it have bones! Since they move, Ladybugs ribbon things has bones. There are also Dynamic bones that use a physic simulations move during a simulation so that they don’t have to manually bounce them around. Like how capes or other bouncy things move in video games. I imagine that they activate the ribbons dynamic bones during closeups when they’re in view and deactivate them when she’s far away so the animation software would be able to render the shot in a shorter time and save money for the budget. Think of the distance models of characters from Steven Universe. There’s probably a better way to explain it but that’s how I could explain it based on my experience on 3D modeling! Do what you will with that information! I hope that this helps 😊

Yeah, not a fan of the new monarch design. Definitely "go back". With this animation style, it just seems like most of the character designs with the heads completely like vacuum sealed into the costume DO NOT look good. Kinda the snake miraculous Adrien vs Luka- Adrien? No. Luka? Yes. Same issue with monarch. I liked the design after the season start better than this one.
Plot wise, this is just as bad as Evolution. But animation wise, its undeniably good

Something I find weird is that one of the limitations Orikko told Gabe the Rooster Miraculous has is that the power it gives you can’t imitate the power of another Miraculous, but in season 1, with Nooroo, he gave akumatized Lila into Volpina, who had illusion powers, which were the same as the fox, so we know the Butterfly can do what the Rooster can’t, which does make sense as the Butterfly Miraculous is of a higher category as shown by the Chinese Miracle Box. With that knowledge in mind, why can’t Gabe just akumatize himself with the power to do what the Rabbit Miraculous could and travel through time again?
