The video ending there is sad, but also the best thing that could happen. Cooler heads prevailed today, I was hyped when I heard Mavericks speech. Khans really have gone down a new path!
Yeah honestly, while theres a lot of space for drama, it was actually an interesting change for things not go to hell. Especially if you consider how the last civilian evacuation went xD
While the lack of drama and action might be more boring than some might hope for. It's a good sign that when push comes to shove and civilian lives are really hanging in the balance, both sides can (begrudgingly in the case of the Riders) temporarily stow their guns and help with the evacuations. Hopefully the Khan's sense of honour here leads to better things to come and some basis for peace in the system.
quite honestly, im surprised that with out a script that you don't encounter more long boring events like you say the evacuation was. cant wait to seen which faction leader you add to your crew next. wait maybe that's how you finally bring peace to the pioneer system, you add all the formal leaders to your crew and then with them take control of their factions and/or declare a system wide council to manage the pioneer system. or something.

Maverick gives a damn good speech. The khans need to find their own way, not be lead around on a leash that they've outgrown. EDIT: I get that evacuating civilians was tedious... But from an outside perspective, that was HUGE! No one died!
The Kans are hard to read their intentions. It feels like there is very much two sides of the Kans; 1 side wants to just be helpful to the system i.e. penumbra squadron bringing you supplies and Cpt. Maverick letting civilians through; the other side being the actual high command leading a war.
khans have a specific "mindset". they are distancing themselves from mass murder hobos, and more into "honored bastards". as longbow let vesuvius go on s2 finalle. it's captain, now primus, maverick, tried to protect the civis from the bloodbath, while also trying to help their efn friends. also, khans value combat prowes, so...
The eternity needs to act as neutral grounds for all and any faction that wants a vote needs to give their best ship to the eternity fleet in the name of peace. So the eternity Caan be a peacekeeping force representing all factions
