Hans Zimmer is an amazing composer, who is known for doing iconic scores. I can't think of a better team to do covers of Zimmer's work than 2Cellos. You guys should cover him more often.
Photography, location, lighting, those edits, those screen shakes.. your emotions and damn.. the energy.... who thought of all these? All these gave so much justice to the music and it's just epic.

I love their PASSION for playing! This totally RAISES the BAR! I love their energy and charisma on stage! They have taken what is normally kind of a "boring" (Classical) instrument - and have breathed NEW LIFE into it! This is AWESOME!
It's not that classical music is boring, it's that typically people don't change anything up... They stick to what they know and dont expand their musical horizon. These guys are simply willing to break the mold and make their own.

And the interplay of having their shoes on versus barefoot also pushes their sex appeal to another level. I simply love the creative choreography and the cinematography of the clip. The two cellists are good for each other, and together, they are great for the world.
First of I had no idea a Cello was able to even hit that type of low note. I usually only hear that in like techno or electronic music.. but to hear come out of an actual instrument is incredible! :O And the rate of speed you were moving that bow was jaw dropping... I think I saw one its strings come off. Incredible Talent absolutely Incredible!

You make people see that there is more to classical instruments then just classical music or as we kids might say "music from the olden times". I saw two 12 year old boys playing violins on 6th ave, NYC for change. I asked if they were going to do like 2 cellos when they got older. One gave me a huge grin and shook his head YES.. This kids had already been playing violins for 6 years too.
Feel their music is a gift. It's so beautiful and, or fun, I can leave it playing all the time. Wish I could tell them thank you for sharing their talent and making life more beautiful.
I swear before my life I never want to hear another form of music of any kind . They're moving because they control the music - all musicians do it. The instrument plays you as much as you play it. The music can only be as enthusiastic as the performer.

all the sounds they make with the cello are sounds i would never even discover even if i would have cello lessons for my whole life they make 2 cellos in basicaly a bass, drum, cello and whatever more its amazing how to get everything out of one instrument

Mombasa was my favourite track from inception by far. Absolutely love this, really shows off the versatility and flexibility of Cellos.
