Cam, First, You are a good man. You are making an effort with the inmates. 2nd, The Roy stories, your commentaries makes the stories way better than just the written part. I didn't know about Chris, truly sorry about Roy and Chris. My son in-law, was killed 13 years ago and my son passed away this past June. It is hard to understand, but for those believing in Christ, forget about all the earthly things, they made it to the greatest reward, everlasting life. I will admit that I am selfish, I want them back, but there is nothing that can be changed. For my son in-law (29) it was a head on traffic accident, the other driver was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of I-5. For my son (46) it was clear cell lung cancer, inoperable, incurable. "They say try and focus on the good memories....
Cam you and roys stories have changed my life. How you are as a father, a friend, a hunter, an athlete, everything. Youve made me better in every single aspect mentioned above. Thank you so much for what you do for us bow hunters and children of god. Keep hammering brother
Really appreciate this video same thing happened to me so grateful i didn't hit anyone thank you sober now 3 years in shape not elk shape yet and had the courage to leave Massachusetts and now living in Colorado and cannot be happier being around same age you inspired me with the power 💪
Coming from an Excon that’s been out for 8 years got married to a teacher and parenting a stepson that has no contact to his because he can quit dope. I appreciate you going one and 2 not casting the judgement. Thank you
I look back on my youth and am so grateful that I was fortunate in avoiding a serious tragedy. The difference between someone that is considered a bad individual and someone who is a good individual in society is sometimes luck.
I really appreciate the message in your content…it’s consistent and meaningful. Great story and touching tribute to fallen members of your circle. You speak of them with such respect and fondness ❣️
as a retired correctional officer, it is neat to go talk to them, heck every taxpayer should go to their prisons to see the wasted spending how we treat inmates better than Veterans, elderly and taxpayers. less than 25% are in the prison for one felony. hell, 75% you can't keep out! don't waste you time on inmates, spending it kids, struggling families, Veterans elderly, handicapped.
Thank you Cam for sharing this great podcast. I truly like You and Roy's hunt stories. Your a blessing to many who knows how many of the men in prison you have opened a door to a better life. I enjoyed filming and hunting With you God's Blessings on all your adventures Uncle Pear
It’s a good thing that they let you go do that, even if it’s one person you reach with your stories & motivation. It is still a difference in the community. People make mistakes and to be honest a lot of them have an uphill battle when they get out. They have a hard time finding jobs because now they are felons but if they get a chance they will definitely be grateful and hopefully be a good employee
OMG. Can't believe you can see yourself equal to prisoners. There's a reason they are named convict. Con. Remember, for every prisoner there's at least one victim. How do you think the victims feel about your visit. If you have extra time on your hands, I'd bet your local V A would love to see you. Yeah the folks who fought to give you the lifestyle you currently live. Bet they to would enjoy an elk steak. Priorities man.
