The 三民主義歌 was designed form the ground up to represent China on a majestic, free and powerful way, the march of the volunteers was not designed as an anthem but as a marching song to fit the theme of the war of resistance and was even used by the National Revolutionary Army for that time, it literally has no reference to communism, socialism or even anything distinct for the CCP, it even comes so far as if you change one character (中華民族 - 中華民國) you automatically support the other side and basically make the anthem useless for the CCP.
