He was not banned in Pakistan I am his spirtiual student and in his tanzeem known as tanzeem e islami so I have all knowledge regarding him he was banned in Saudia Arabia and Dubai due to his thoughts and compliments against them

If he was planning such type of thing which is not only against the goverment but also against state then it should be banned
He was not banned directly by the government, but in the 90s PTV stopped broadcasting his lectures.

He died not 25 years back. But in 2010 around 13 years back. He was a great Islamic scholer with immense knowledge. His lectures diverted countless non practicing muslims towards religion. Also so many converted to Islam. He died but his lectures on youtube are still listend by millions of people. So His religious services are continued and successful even after his death. May Allah Kareem grant him highest places in Jannah...Ameeeen....Kashif Noor from Karachi. Pakistan.
