The best version of this piece. Vengerov brings just the right amount of tenderness and bravura where appropriate. The sound of the string orchestra is really unique, and I honestly like it better than the full orchestration Sarasate originally wrote.

i won't pretend to know much about classical violin playing, but i know what i like and Maxim Vengerov had me awestruck with that exquisite performance
Unbelievable musician: he just enjoys music and it seems there is no any effort from his side to play this. These kind of persons are just blessed from the God.
