Just a quick comment. Enjoyed your presentation, I never cease being amazed at what I going to see next on UA-cam. I am now retired after 40 years in diagnostic veterinary pathology 30 years of which were in an academic setting. An eventual AI takeover of surgical pathology (human or veterinary) seems inevitable to me. However, I seriously doubt AI will ever become useful in performing diagnostic post mortem examinations.
Hi Rich! Thank you for your comment. I don't see AI being applicable to post mortem at the moment either, but who knows what technology will surprise us with. Maybe a program trained on hundreds of thousands of gross pictures would then help identify the lesions seen on the carcass...Just my imagination at the moment, but who knows what will happen.
