You released this album right when I was in Japan for the first time and I said "this album will be my soundtrack here". And now I'm seeing this MV and reading this beautiful poem and I know now I was right 💜

What I love most about Japanese music is that they generally love to mix both classical instruments into other modern on top of the different chord they used compared to Western. And when it comes to DJ OKAWARI's music, it's so rare of an artist, in my opinion, where I love almost every song in the many albums they release. DJ OKAWARI's music and his style has always seem to hit that sweet spot of combining two music worlds together and creating a really lovely listening experience.
American Hip hop was doing this decades ago. Mixing old with modern, not really new. But yes, Okawari makes very good music.

I don't know what could have been of my music if i didn't find artist like Dj Okawari. They trully showed me that what i was looking for in terms of style is possible and can be beautiful.
