    I love watching this guy. Such great technique. That little tip of finishing in the mixing bowl before taking it out is really great

      The reason for him being so good at this technique may be that he invented 😅.
      This is literally call the Bertinet technique

    Can this be made in a RoccBox? I'm not sure if the RoccBox can sustain the necessary low-level heat... I'm interested in buying one - but not sure if this particular recipe would work on the RoccBox - thanks!

    Where do we get the bread ring from?

      I was curious what that was. I've never seen someone bake with a wood ring like that. You could probably just use a cake pan, though it would transfer more heat that a wooden ring. In another video I saw him form one out of foil.

      Hey, we usually purchase ours from the bakery counter in Sainsburys or a catering supplier however we have heard other people have purchased from Morrisons before. Hope this helps!

    Are the temperatures the same when you use a conventional or fan-assisted oven? Unfortunately I only have an ordinary oven 😉

      Generally for a fan assisted oven you'd notch the temp down a bit. But the temperature they suggest seems like a good temp for a standard oven. I haven't baked brie in a long time but last time I did it was about that temp in a conventional oven.

      Seriously. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic I was very conscious of this kind of thing. If you notice, everyone else backs away before taking a bite but he's just basically using the dish as his personal plate. Maybe that was his plan all along... just lick it so no one else wants some haha.
