The fights seemed less longer then season 4 Tournament. Nothing is wrong with the season just that the writers should've made the fights with the same tone as Tournament of Elements
90% of the fights were horribly rushed. We got glimpses of some of the elemental masters from season 4 and barely saw them fight and there were a lot missing which we don’t know if maybe they didn’t accept their invitations cause of the whole Chen situation or if their elements were passed on. Part 2 of this season was poorly set out
in episode 20, when a certain someone returns from netherspace (won’t spoil in case some of you haven’t watched the episode) lloyd and sora are in the background during this persons scene, but are unanimated and just static.
Right and how she open the portal like that no element what so ever just because she had a connection to Kai like jordana had a connection why couldn’t she open the portal and I feel that the wolf mask warrior are weak like they got over powered by people with no power at all and how did nokt with all elements power lose by being push down and being out smarted I wanted him to keep the elemental power at the end it would be a fun concept

I seeeriously don't get why people have problems with part 2 of this season, that is WAY FAR the best thing to ever come out of ninjago, like WOW! So amazing! I haven't been on the edge of my seat so many times in quite some time now, it was so epic! And the character dynamics and relationships were so powerful and emotional and everything, I am soooo blown away how outstandingly good this season was!!!
Not to mention the episodes are completely rendered and all the animation is complete. I also don't see anything as uncomplete or unfinished. It's just a sucky situation all around that this happened in the first place.

Something I noticed that made it seem unfinished is a glitch in episode 17 at [6:26] when Arin shoved Sora, there is a black hole in the drawing board behind them where a paper once was. And sometimes, the rising dragon effects aren't as good as before. They look like static effects coming off of the dragon. And the blackouts during the episodes coild have been where ad breaks were to happen but they never did. And that never happened in previous episodes. So maybe it's still unfinished.

I’m actually on the minority side here: as someone who is unfortunately growing out of ninjago as I get older, this batch of episodes brought me back to why I loved this show so much through reminding me of my favorite season : tournament of elements. As well, I really enjoyed every character this time as in the past of dragons rising I haven’t always liked every character (Sora) but here these characters work and all have plots that eventually end in either setting up an arch for a future season or resolving in season 2. With all this being said dragon rising season 2, espicslly with this second half of episodes, will go down as a great season which I can compare and contrast to the fourth season of the orininal ninjago show.
