  • Was a member of the British royal family in cahoots with the Nazis? Recently declassified FBI files expose a surprising twist in the legacy of Edward VIII. In 1941, President Roosevelt had the Duke of Windsor investigated for suspicion of sympathizing with Nazi Germany. What the investigation found was an astonishing plot to put Edward VIII on Britain's throne as Hitlers Nazi puppet. Under different circumstances, could this relationship have changed history as we know it?

My mother, whose parents were in some of the same social circles as Edward and Mrs. Simpson, told me this story. The above was identically her take. My grandparents taught her to absolutely despise the two of them. My mother told me Britain was better off with Edward gone and King George VI leading the country through World War Two. Mother also told me that the story was Churchill had to threaten Edward with being tried for treason if he didn't stop making stupid public political statements.

Edward was not the sharpest tool in the shed. One of his biographers said of him that 'He was the silliest man I ever met'. I would not doubt that for one moment. His own father George V was a bully who never read a book and mistreated his 4 sons appallingly. It's amazing that his brother Bertie became a great king under the circumstances.

I've always suspected that the Wallis Simpson affair was just an excuse to get him off the throne. They could have had a morganatic marriage and Princess Elizabeth would have ended up queen anyway, when Edward died in 1972. The real problem with him were his German sympathies at a time when it was clear that the UK would be at war with Germany, with a real possibility of a German occupation of Britain. Wallis Simpson was just a blessing in disguise. Better to say your (of German ancestry) king loves the wrong woman than to say he's soft on Hitler.

Did you (or anybody) watch any one of the many UA-cam videos that were about Wallis Simpson and “the would-be King”? It seems as if she did not really love him but was rather disgusted by him, particularly after he abdicated. Of course, she realized that she would no longer be what she felt she deserved, so she tried unsuccessfully to dissuade him from doing it. I think that there was a concerted effort to put her in his path as a way to get him off of HIS path to the throne. She was particularly vile towards him once he needed assistance when he became older and frail. I actually felt somewhat bad for him knowing what he went through right up until his death. She, of course, lived life to the fullest until she passed away many years later. Nasty, nasty woman!

@@karfos6764 She was just a well-to-do whore for lack of a better term. It was quite clear that she was still in love with for former husband (can't remember his name), and her "love" for Edward had a lot to do with the lifestyle that she'd be provided with by being with him. I think the royal family wanted Edward off the throne even without the relationship with Simpson, and she was merely a convenient tool to the royal family to help facilitate that. Simpson had made her decision to be with Edward (or the decision was somewhat made for her depending on what you believe) before the abdication and subsequent exile, so she was kind of stuck with him after that. It sounds like in some ways she resented Edward for the life path he chose, and that she really was miserable with their life after abdication and post WW2.

King George V replaced the German-sounding title with that of Windsor during the First World War. The name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha survived in other European monarchies, including the current Belgian Royal Family and the former monarchies of Portugal and Bulgaria. The name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha came to the British Royal Family in 1840 with the marriage of Queen Victoria to Prince Albert, son of Ernst, Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha. Queen Victoria herself remained a member of the House of Hanover.

Their headstones should have ended with “traitor to the land they are buried in.” I grew up with the “fairytale romance,” but as I grew older, it stopped passing the sniff test. I’ve seen a lot of families where a new in-law wasn’t particularly welcome, or a child refusing to take over the family business caused consternation, but this was way beyond normal disappointment or hurt feelings. Finding out Edward would have been a vengeful King (“they didn’t want me as their king, but I’ll be back as their leader”)...begs the question. If he had been put back on the thrown by Hitler, what do you think he would have done to the royal family? Being shot at the Tower of London for treason for not bowing to Wallis? A convenient accident with the plane carrying the royal family to exile in Canada? I doubt any of them would have lived a month. I hope they buried them both face down.

The Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family are a high level German nobility involved with military and landownership. The name Saxe is said to be derived from the Seax knife however this is not accurate. The Saxons were the Scythian Tribe of Sakas. The Sakas were related with the more ancient Moabites and later the Kingdom of Ashkenaz located in Scythia which was also related with the Tribe of Ashkuza. The Gepids were a Gothic tribe and descendants of the Israeli Japhetites. Ashkenaz was an Israelite-Canaanite that migrated into Scythia establishing the Tribe of Ashkuza and Ashkenazi people. The House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha were directly involved with the Nazis and the term Nazi was secretly created to honor Ashkenaz. Prince Friedrich Josias of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha was a Nazi officer in the Wehrmacht. Prince Bernhard of Saxe-Meiningen was accused of being part of a Nazi conspiracy and then later fled to Italy. Charles Edward the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha was a politician in Nazi Germany. The House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha were one of the families involved in engineering the Nazis and WWII which was used to persecute opposition and seize more power. The Saxe family's elder house is the Wettin family. Wettin like wet. They used brainwashing to create the Nazi movement. The Nazis are generally white supremacists and this also links with the KKK wearing tall pointed hoods which originated with the Sakas. The Sakas were a nomadic tribe of raiders and this is where the term sacking comes from. They were invaders and thieves that sacked or robbed other tribes and nations. The Nazi propagandist David Duke and former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan is financed to spread Nazi propaganda in the alternative media for the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family. Both David Duke and Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha went to the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge during the 1960's. Prince Andreas states on his family's website he spent most of his life in the United States.
There is both a Babylonian and Scythian branch of Saxons derived from the Ashkenazis. The Sacchetti family of Rome manage the Sachs bloodline which included Samuel Sachs the co-founder of Goldman Sachs. The Savoy and Torlonia families of Italy both have some Saxon origins and the Massimo family have Gothic ancestry. The Massimo family has married with the Saxon House of Wettin through Princess Maria Christina Sabina the daughter of Prince Francis Xavier of Saxony. Prince Vittorio Emanuele IV of Savoy's mother was Marie Jose of Belgium of the Saxe Coburg and Gotha family. The Savoy family and their puppet dictator Bennito Mussolini issued Leggi Razziali under royal decree which were anti-Jewish laws. The Fascists shared a similar ideology as the Nazis. Queen Elizabeth II's father George VI was Saxe Coburg and Gotha. The Savoy, Torlonia, and Massimo families covertly oversee the Saxon-Gothic bloodlines from Rome. The solution to dealing with the royal families which are operating as a global crime syndicate is outlawing royalty, dictators, and singular rulers; and then declaring these criminals the terrorists that they are. Prince Andreas of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha is the head of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha with his children Prince Hubertus of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, Prince Alexander Philip of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Princess Stephanie Sibylla of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. The Saxe princes are like military generals that command Nazi gang stalkers in the United States and Europe. Prince Andreas has lived in the US. Prince Hubertus has worked as a banker in New York City and Germany. The Saxe Coburg and Gotha family own about 20,000 acres in Thuringia. Prince Konrad of Saxe-Meiningen is the head of his princely branch and works as a financial analyst and as the Managing Director of German Wind Power. Aloys Wobben is a German billionaire worth about 7 billion and from Rastdorf in Lower Saxony. Wobben is the owner of Enercon which is a wind turbine company. Prince Konrad oversees the financing of Nazi gang stalkers. Prince Michael of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach is the head of his Saxe branch with Prince Wilhelm Ernst of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach and Prince Constantin of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach as members of this family.
The Saxe noble families of Germany have a portion of ownership over the Aryan Brotherhood, Nazi Lowriders, and Public Enemy No. 1 which are involved in robbery and identity theft as well as other crimes. The Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family also control the Ku Klux Klan and oversee Nazi propaganda. The Nazi Lowriders and Public Enemy No. 1 are allied and mixed in with the Mexican Mafia and Mexican gangs like the Surenos. The House of Hohenlohe-Langenburg are a German-Spanish nobility and they manage some Mexican street gangs. The German-Mexican Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg has a residence in Mexico and manages oversight of criminal organizations owned by the Spanish Hohenlohe-Langenburg line which are the Dukes of Medinaceli. The Hohenlohe-Langenburg family financed Nazi propaganda in Mexico which is why there are Mexican Nazis like the Nationalist Front of Mexico. In the 18th century Princess Louise Eleonore of Hohenlohe-Langenburg married Duke Georg I of Saxe-Meiningen and in the 19th century Prince Ernst II of Hohenlohe-Langenburg married Princess Alexandra of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. A German branch of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family was appointed as the monarchs of Belgium with King Philippe of Belgium, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, Princess Astrid of Belgium and Archduchess of Austria-Este, and Prince Laurent of Belgium as members of the Belgian Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family. The name Sackler derives from Saxon. The Jewish Sackler family in the United States are multi billionaires and founders of Purdue Pharma which is a large manufacturer of oxycodone and other pain killers. Richard Sackler is a top member of this family and worth about 13 billion. The Sackler family have been exposed for pushing their pain killers through the medical industry and causing mass opioid addiction in the United States. Prince Simeon of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha was the last King of Bulgaria and Prime Minister of Bulgaria until 2005. His children are Prince Kubrat, Prince Konstantin-Assen, Prince Kyril, Prince Kardam, and Princess Kalina and they are all members of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha-Kohary line. Bulgaria entered into an alliance with the Nazis through the Tripartite Pact of 1940. Andreas of Germany is the top authority of the Saxon clans. The Saxon Nazi cults are extremely dangerous and murderous.

@@SymphonyBrahms The Danish Royal House itself was "German" in that its members repeatedly married German royalties. This is was true of almost all European royal houses for centuries prior to 1914 in that the Holy Roman Empire/Germany had the biggest concentration of families recognized as sovereign or of sovereign rank. European monarchies, especially Protestant ones, looked largely to Germany for spouses. Queen Alexandra's mother was a German princess, as were her father's and her grandfather's mother.

It would seem Edward was far more persuaded of his privilege than he was of his obligation. His delusions persisted even after abdication. Wallis married into the delusions as well as marrying the man. The pair were a perfect target for Hitler's ambitions. Hitler and his PR minister were very conscious of image crafting. Adolf remained overawed with aristocracy. He was well disposed to cater to Windsor and his wife.

Wallis Simpson detested the British. It wasn't that she was a divorcee. She had been the mistress of Count Ciano, Mussolini's foreign minister, and she admired Hitler and the Nazis. Edward VIII would have been an unmitigated disaster as King. I shudder to think what might have happened had he not insisted on marrying the woman, but kept her as a concubine, which is what she wanted. He'd have been King, she would have had access to everything he saw, and the results might have been catastrophic.

I grew up believing in the love story. It's only as an adult I realized what a self centered silly man he was. I imagine thanks should be given to Wallis for keeping him off the throne. However I believe that she would have loved to be Queen, and when she finally saw that was not going to be possible is when she begged him not to abdicate. She got stuck with the little man that she did not love. I do not feel sorry for her, she grew old living very comfortably. Of course I would not wish Dementia on anyone. Based on what I've read or seen on TV she lived into her late 80's.
