She created a monster that kid was such a freakin brat I’m glad that she started to think differently at the end!
I mean yeah, but you should introduce tech and let your child play only for an hour or two. It would be best if you created strict rules. Both extremities are wrong.
5:27 I come from a black household, and if I said that to my mom, she would snatch the iPad out of my hand, grab me by my hand, and drag me to the car in front of everyone. And then she'll go off on me and I probably won't ever see that ipad again for like 1-3 months.

You know when they say “your not the boss of me” Tell them “I am your father a part where I raised you and trying to give you a future, you should respect me and follow rules”
Bro im gen alpha and I was given a phone at 3 and was able to be on social media when I was 8 and I'm 11 rn and I'm always outside so what you talking about💀💀🙏🙏
I was a computer kid in the 90's, but I read books and played with dolls and crafts too. If my mom wasn't busy with my brother, we played board games or we would put on her records and dance. It's all about having a balance. Now I use my phone to play games, learn how to do things, play music and check on my friends, but I still workout, craft, swim and play my instruments.
Same here. I had just as many real world experiences as I did virtual ones. In fact, technology was so basic back then, it was actually harder to get lost in it than it is now.
I liked computers in the 90s it wasn't that big like it is today with access to internet, but I rode bikes, skated, played outside, went to the park, played sports like basketball and football due to my parents didn't want me to end up like this kid
I'm totally agree with Charlie's mom. It's time to tell children to interact with other children around their age. Whether its ipads, laptop or smartphones. I hope the adults can also spend time with children rather then electric devices too.
50/50, in one hand, what you said is completely true. But on the other hand, they need to be introduced to technology to learn new stuff which includes their future, disagree or not, Technology is gonna dominate the future. Now of course, there needs to be restrictions to that like no using your ipad all day, when eating or when meeting new people. But that's the parents job now. My parents, for example, takes my little brother's ipad everytime he either goes to eat, sleep or meet new people. And of course, they tell him to get off his ipad once and in a while.
@@ToastBloxy That's actually good that they're doing that because they'll end up missing out on their entire childhood. I also agree with Charlie's mom about him being too young for electronics at his age because the kid should at least be twelve or thirteen before they can have an iPad.
@@yogalover2753 Depends. Nowadays, it's hard to find friends that aren't glued on Electronics which gives 9 year olds hard to socially enjoy their childhood.
@ToastBloxy So true, this is actually the reason it's important to monitor how much time your kids spend on technology, and for some things, you should wait until they're at least a year away from being a teen. I didn't even have an iPad at all until I got a bit older, and I turned out fine. Yes, I had a few electronics before then, such as a TV in my bedroom that I got for my tenth birthday and a video now player that I had before then. Hell, my dad, even let me have my first phone ( which didn't have internet) and DVD player when I was eleven years old. But I wasn't allowed to have things like my own computer until I was twelve or thirteen because I was at an age where I'd need it for homework. Yeah, my dad wasn't completely strict about the computer like some parents, but there were certain things I wasn't allowed to do on it, though.

I would’ve been torn a new one for that iPad would have been taken away for a week or longer would’ve been taken home immediately and probably would’ve been put on restriction for a few days at least
Years ago, I ran into my four nephews having lunch at McDonald's. (Or, rather, sitting together in McDonald's while silently staring at their phones.) I sat down next to them with my lunch and attempted a little small talk. They collectively said, "Uh-huh..." and kept playing, zombielike, with their phones. Me: Hey, guys! Would you mind passing me your phones for a moment? I just want to check something on them for you! They each quickly surrendered their phones to me. (Heaven forbid their phone might have an issue!) I pocketed each phone and began to have a real conversation with them over lunch. Then, they exchanged looks, realizing they were just hoodwinked by their sly uncle! And we all happily chatted together. When we had finished our meals and were preparing to leave, I returned the kids' phones to them, thanking them for the chat. Not only did they get a taste of the art of conversation, but they learned a second lesson: that you'd miss out and never, ever learn how to occasionally outsmart and pull fast ones on unsuspecting people if you spend your life staring at and scrolling on your damn phone all the time! That's what rascally uncles are for.

7:17 extended ending concept: "i'm starting to see that now," sandra said. "but... i just don't know how to start... and, come to think of it, it could be already be too late to make any amendments." "well, its never too late to change, because from all my years of being a mother, I do have the one trick that I believe can solve it." mary said. "let me ask you something, sandra: have you ever heard the phrase of: you catch more flies with honey than vinegar?" "no, but, what do you mean by that?" sandra asked. "well, what I'm saying is... if you could try to be a good example and encourage him to put down his electronics, maybe things could work out differently." mary said. "but... will it work? i mean, I tried to encourage him to put down his electronics, but despite my yelling and shouting, nothing ever works." sandra said. and that's where mary snapped her fingers. "ah ha! that's where the problem's at. yelling and shouting." mary said. "sandra, do you know the reason why charlie always listens to my words?" sandra shakes her head. "well, that's because I believe that yelling and shouting isn't going to get me anywhere if I want to help out my child. instead, if you could switch the tone of yelling and shouting and use a much nicer tone to tell Sam..." "...then he might be able to listen to my encouragements..." sandra said. "exactly." mary said. "so... how about you give it a try?" "you sure it'll work?" sandra asked. "I have faith that it will." mary replied. sandra thought about it for a while. then... "sam, mind taking off the earphones for a while? mommy has something important to ask." sandra said. as sam sees that he lost the game he's playing, he decided to put it on pause, takes out his earphones, and turn towards her mother. "what is it, mom?" sam asked. "let me ask you something, why do you believe that playing your iPad is better than... well, playing outdoors?" sandra asked. "I mean, what's the point of doing that anyways? it's hot out there, and there could be mosquitoes biting me. and compared to playing on the iPad, its much nicer." sam replied. sandra sighed. "well, that's just you overthinking about it." she said. then she asks sam a question about his game that he's playing. "so... in the game that you play, in order to get food, gather materials, and fight off monsters, you need to go outdoors to do so, right?" sam nodded. "well, that's practically the same thing... minus the part where you get food, gather materials, and fight off monsters." sandra said. "look, what I'm saying is... the great outdoors in your game is thrilling, and, so is in the real world... you just don't know that yet. and once you try it... maybe you might like it." "you believe that's true?" sam said. "i do, sam, and like i said, all it takes is for you to try it... who knows, maybe you might like it. so what do you say?" sandra asked. sam thought about it for a while, and pictured himself. in the game, he has the thrill of exploring the outdoors digitally, and in the real life, he is surrounded by kids of his age. but despite him wanting to be in the world of the game, he still cant seem to do so, as in the game... he's just... alone. all by himself. no one but him. until... "tag, you're it!" one of the kids said, as he ran past sam, patting him in the process. sam is just there, standing. the kids are just looking at sam, waiting for him to make his next move. "sam... are you alright...?" sandra said. "hold my iPad, mom." sam said, as he asks sandra to hold onto his ipad. "because its time i make sure they'll be tagged... before the day ends!" he runs off, as he plays along with the kids happily. the video ends with both mothers smiling, as the decision of sam decided to change his ways makes the both of them happy, especially sandra, who is happy that mary's method worked.
1:45 These videos never make since, these kids are not even going to play on the ipad, the only reason why all of them are pleading is for the mom to be pressured to say yes to make the plot keep going! 💀💀💀
Honestly, when the boy in the green shirt responded to his mother like that, I felt a huge rage, even though he was a child, but it was the mother's own fault, she thought so much that leaving her son with the iPad 24 hours a day wouldn't hurt that he practically became a crazy, arrogant, social maniac and on top of that, he's losing his childhood.
My older cousin used to be so nice and she'd play with me and her little sister all the time. But then her mom gave her a phone and tablet and it basically made her a whole new person. Now, when we try to talk or hang out with her, she tells us to go away. And when her mom takes her phone, she throws a tantrum like a 5 year old (she's 14) 😢
As A kid who got an iPad for his autism diagnosis since he was 3, I see this as an absolute win (I hate the government for trying to help autism instead of training them to act less weird)
I agree that having access to tecnology from a young age is very helpful nowadays. But it's also easy to get sucked into the wonders of the internet. In my opinion it's okay for a child to have access to tecnology, as long as there's a limit to his daily screentime.
Is it rly helpful tho- u don't do Jobs at a young age. Why does 9 year old want to hv full access of technology. I say 10 years of age is the best age to introduce technology
It would be interesting that Dhar Mann makes a part 2 of this episode about Sandra sending her son Sam to boot camp because she is fed up with Sam’s addiction.
watching this on my IPad. TBH - the mom bringing the gift did not respect the wishes of the mom giving the party - she wanted to flaunt that she had the money to spend on the device.
If I had my own kids I wouldn’t give them electronics and I don’t want them to get distracted. Also, let children enjoy their childhood and have fun outside and bonding with new kids.

Well I don’t know about never but if ever have children I’d wait until they reach a certain age or until they understand about balance
My kids won't be getting an ipad until their 18th birthday
3:04 Yes it is 😂💀
She is stating facts that some kids don't care about going outside nowadays because everything is online unfortunately we need technology for a lot of things for school work
“Tell that to your face” that mom got cooked😂
”Your not the boss of me” got me😂😂😂
I would’ve been torn a new one for that iPad would have been taken away for a week or longer would’ve been taken home immediately and probably would’ve been put on restriction for a few days at least
Very sweet story! ❤
dude why would you bring an IPAD to a party? like bro cmon now,it’s literally not that hard to put it down and spend time with your friends. If you can’t handle that, why would you even go the that party in the first place?💀
I would bring a nintnedo switch to a party, but only to play with others for a bit then I'd be done with it
You are absolutely right
Reol
I would bring a iPad or phone or switch to play with my cousin or my birthday (I only bring iPad on my cousins birthday bc she’s using one too)
I only play after I open presents
That boy got lots of nerve to be talking back

She enabled it.

extended ending concept:
"i'm starting to see that now," sandra said. "but... i just don't know how to start... and, come to think of it, it could be already be too late to make any amendments."
"well, its never too late to change, because from all my years of being a mother, I do have the one trick that I believe can solve it." mary said. "let me ask you something, sandra: have you ever heard the phrase of: you catch more flies with honey than vinegar?"
"no, but, what do you mean by that?" sandra asked.
"sandra, do you know the reason why charlie always listens to my words?"
sandra shakes her head.
"well, that's because I believe that yelling and shouting isn't going to get me anywhere if I want to help out my child. instead, if you could switch the tone of yelling and shouting and use a much nicer tone to tell Sam..."
"...then he might be able to listen to my encouragements..." sandra said.
"exactly." mary said. "so... how about you give it a try?"
"you sure it'll work?" sandra asked.
"so... in the game that you play, in order to get food, gather materials, and fight off monsters, you need to go outdoors to do so, right?"
sam nodded.
"well, that's practically the same thing... minus the part where you get food, gather materials, and fight off monsters." sandra said. "look, what I'm saying is... the great outdoors in your game is thrilling, and, so is in the real world... you just don't know that yet. and once you try it... maybe you might like it."
"you believe that's true?" sam said.
"because its time i make sure they'll be tagged... before the day ends!"
he runs off, as he plays along with the kids happily.
the video ends with both mothers smiling, as the decision of sam decided to change his ways makes the both of them happy, especially sandra, who is happy that mary's method worked.
Wyh
amazing. i wanna say you ate that but i feel that would be wrong so just amazing
This is one of my favorite dhar mann videos, its short but i love it!
1:45 These videos never make since, these kids are not even going to play on the ipad, the only reason why all of them are pleading is for the mom to be pressured to say yes to make the plot keep going! 💀💀💀

Quick the movie 🎥🍿 it so cute and cool 😎
Honestly, when the boy in the green shirt responded to his mother like that, I felt a huge rage, even though he was a child, but it was the mother's own fault, she thought so much that leaving her son with the iPad 24 hours a day wouldn't hurt that he practically became a crazy, arrogant, social maniac and on top of that, he's losing his childhood.

Just like how I'm watching this 💀

My older cousin used to be so nice and she'd play with me and her little sister all the time. But then her mom gave her a phone and tablet and it basically made her a whole new person. Now, when we try to talk or hang out with her, she tells us to go away. And when her mom takes her phone, she throws a tantrum like a 5 year old (she's 14) 😢
Even though dhar Mann makes the most unrealistic videos and barely teaches any lessons well always love his content

As A kid who got an iPad for his autism diagnosis since he was 3, I see this as an absolute win (I hate the government for trying to help autism instead of training them to act less weird)
I love your videos keep up the great work dhar mann
Dhar Mann? You sure?
As a non eight year old if I had the opportunity to play on my iPad or jump in a ball pit, I’d be swimmin’
