    Sterling Hayden , the actor , was a Marine Corp officer assigned to the OSS during WW2 and did numerous behind the lines operations in the Balkans , Croatia and Yugoslavia and achieved the rank of Captain . Rumored to take too many risks and liked actual combat a bit too much and was highly decorated for his service .

    at 24:43 an Allied military plane is anachronistically shown with triple white stripes in 1942. Those were "invasion stripes" added to Allied planes in June 1944, immediately before D-Day, to prevent misidentification by friendly forces

    What about the seabees? Thay reprosented at D-Day and many other majer events and where recruited in mass for the first frogman teams. Want crazy storys from at sea ship repair, cuting a mountain down the middel, and even steeling trains miles behind enemy lines more so to get the alcohol thay found back more so than anything else.

    Interesting thing I learned recently, the SR-71 was the two seater version, of which only 8 were made. The A-12 was the single seater version, of which there were more I believe

    There is no evidence that the spartans actually were any more warlike or slave-oriented than other greek city states.
    The athenians were the exception.

    The CIA museum reminds me of that episode of American dad where they're making space and need to get rid of a few things "this copy of the Bible with God's autograph" everyone raises their hand and says "me, me, me!" And director Avery says "ah-ah-ah, protestants only!, I'll just take this machine that turns water into cocaine, you can sort out the rest yourselves. Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to party the nose clean off my face."
