I'm just never gonna understand how anybody can let there vehicle get this nasty! Great job as always!
speaking from experience with my dad, he owns a carpentry business plus farming and he used his personal truck as his work truck and he was also a single father so it got dirty fast and it wasn’t always easy to find time to clean the truck, plus things like physical and mental health can affect it as well, if someone has a bad back it can be hard to be bent over grabbing things under the seat, plus stuff like dirt and hair can build up over time and it’s hard to find time to vacuum, especially if you don’t own one and have to go to a car wash or something
It’s not as easy as everybody thinks. Majority of farmers like me and my family work from 4am to 9pm we don’t always have time too clean!
It’s their in this context, but I totally agree! Me and my mum try and clean her car whenever it’s warm outside, and she even bought an in-car vacuum! I’m not saying everyone should do the exact same thing, but letting one’s car get this bad is also on the no list!
and some people have other issues going on. mental health can cause a house or a car to pile up in dirt bc the person is going through something
I actually personally know a car worse than this. It's been sitting in a barn since a crash over a decade ago and has mold growing in it. I still want to buy, clean and fix it up lol
I’ve been having a rough, stressful day just really anxious and this video made it better, thank you
Definitely want to see the homemade exctractor. I’m currently just using my shop vac with the filter removed 😢
I would love to see that too!
There's an extractor tool on Amazon for the shop vac definitely not as good as having an actual extractor but still gets the job done
Honestly impressed that this interior took you 6.5 hours, nice work
I know dem hot showers at the end of the day after cleaning them nasty cars be hitting😩😮💨
I love my chiropractor. I can barely turn my head and he fixes it right up. I also had a problem with a pinched sciatic nerve (worst pain ever) and he fixed it right up and gave me exercises to help prevent it from happening again.
That was crazy. I can tell the entire time you were struggling to get all that dirt out like OH MY GOD!!! That truck was tough. Dirt, dirt, and more dirt. This is the first video I seen on the channel. I’m subscribed.
I grew up in the country myself and had a lot of contact with the local farmers. None of them would have let his car fall into disrepair, because a car is always a visiting card from the person who drives it. It would have been unpleasant for me to hand over such a car like that.
All the more I admire the hard work and the good result. I really hope that your work will be appreciated.
i watch quite a few car cleaning channels on the yt rabbit hole...
there is one thing you not doing that some detailers are: grab a stiff brush like a new dish brush and agitate the carpet *BEFORE* you vacuum.
will make your vacuuming so much easier than dry tornador as it flings dirt everywhere (good for the stubborn stains)
also wash the outside first then door jams. that way when you vaccuum your not introducing new dirt.
Im a little older, I listen to grunge, classic rock, hair bands if I'm feeling nostalgic. Piles of old CDs. Makes the hours detailing enjoyable. I've had some challenges, but nothing as bad as this truck! Nice work!
Edit: don't forget the pedals, I hit them with a toothbrush. YMMV
ONLY 6.5 hours??? ONLY???? This would have taken me a month. Amazing!
I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I love silence! If I need to focus on something, total silence makes it happen. I don't like background noise. Love your videos!!
I'm with you on homework, but otherwise I'll have the an audiobook, music, or the TV in the background
I would have definitely pulled the carpet and pressure washed it. You were already most of the way there. A local professional interior guy was replacing the covers in a truck my buddy bought. He told us what to do to try and save the carpet after an extractor didn’t get the results he was looking for. We were all surprised how much gunk was coming out (how dirty the run off water was) when pressure washing it after the extractor. We pulled it out and laid it in the yard. Sprayed it down with a good auto carpet cleaner and let it sit. Then pressure washed all the soap out. It wasn’t a super high pressure washer. Under 2000psi. Not sure if a 4K psi machine might tear up the carpet.
Yes it would take longer to dry. But you should have seen all the dirt that rinsed out after the extractor had already done what it could.
I think the same thing watching so many of these detail vids. They never answer me. This one for example should have had the sill plates and kick panels removed at least. We all know how much accumulates under them. Heck I pop them out when just vacuuming quite often.
When I detail cars I listen to EDM and 60s and 70s music.
I’m subscribed to a couple of music podcasts one of them is Techno Live Sets with mostly European DJs. I have to write a lot for my work and this helps me to block out random thoughts and stay focused. Also sometimes I listen to just ambient sounds like waves on the beac, that sort of thing. Love your videos - keep up the good work. From UK 🇬🇧
Everything you said in this video I have told my husband or thought to myself. I clean the dash then extract the floors. I have also found the bigger the vehicle I'm cleaning the more I need the chiropractor. I have only been detailing about 2 months but I enjoy watching detail videos as homework.
When I’m at work I listen to r&b from the 90s and early 2000’s
A good way to get up pet hair is to put on any kind rubber/plastic gloves and rub your hands over the upholstery. It's amazing! Gets rid of most of the hair quickly, saving a lot of vacuuming time.
Usually, farmers are concerned about what they bring from the barn floor into their trucks.
I would think it was the opposite with this truck owner. The farm owner made the truck owner wipe his feet BEFORE he was allowed in the barn.
love the chiropractor! its one of the best choices I ever made !
Another good one. Curious to know whether all your clients are appreciative of what you do for them?
I just bought a 2014 Ram 1500 Bighorn. I’m starting a landscaping business in the spring. I’m definitely going to try to keep my truck clean
The brush that picks up pet hair is crazy helpful.
I remember doing a van took me about 5 hours got a 50 dollar tip that day they was shocked i stay watching this channel
I used to listen to a lot of Billy Cobham, Flim&the BB's both are completely instrumental fusion jazz or Rush.
If I'm drawing, I like to listen to podcasts! For papers or anything involving writing, instrumental music is my go-to.
I love watching the foxtail brush parts, reminds me of raking up my Grandfathers back yard
What better way to end a Monday than to watch some Stauffer magic!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
O carro tava sujo, e o trabalho que ele faz é incrível, deu um certo prazer ver o resultado.
I listen to anything from classical to jazz, alternative rock to new age. It depends on the mood and my energy level. Sometimes I listen to calming music..
Wow it like it's almost new again. Great job
This Sierra reminds me of a Jordan Petterson quote - Clean your room.
Honestly what i listen to is a mix of things so like edm or rap or dubstep sometimes a podcast here and there
I love listening to Ron and Fez from their XM days.
Nice video and job. I still can't understand why people allowed their cars to get this dirty, and used as a garbage can. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
for me, you are one of the best youtube detailer! Bravo
Thanks Ano!
@@StaufferGarage this is sincere, I know what I am talking about, I have worked in industrial intensive cleaning for over 20 years, (with very concentrated dilution products), and I am amazed at the work you do, it is simple, you are the head of all youtubers!
you inspired me and I decided to make videos as well, the videos will follow guys, so please subscribe :-)
see you soon, Stauffer.
Ano from Belgium
@@StaufferGarage ACS my friend.... it'll keep you in business for a long time
Awesome video! 👌 for the plastics and under the seats, I was thinking it would be easier just to spray them off with water after agitating with the detail brush and then wiping dry.
Love the vids my guy! Would love to see more exterior videos as well though!! Keep up the great work and content!
A great job, up there with the big guys.
When I’m working it’s usually Bill Burr’s podcast, spitballers or my synthwave playlists on Apple Music
Creepypastas! The Dark Somnium, lighthouse horror, Mr. Creepypasta, creepsmcpasta and creep gohst stories channel are my favorites.
2000's punk rock??? I LOVE IT TOO🤩
You should make a shop vac attachment that is like the crevice tool but with a pet hair brush on the end of it so you can vacuum and brush pet hair at the same time.
I don’t want to imagine the smells, that truck was filthy. I have problems with my hands and hurt after gardening, and I can definitely see how yours hurt after working so hard on this projects. Thank you for a great work done ✅
I like to listen to audio books and podcast while working on a tedious task.
Love my chiropractor! Been seeing him for 25 years. Always feel better!
A huge mess, but you are real good at cleaning this kind of thing. Happy Thanksgiving. God bless.
Rogan and BP podcast is basically me from 2018. Now if it's crunch time I put on a Dragonforce playlist and get to work.
i listen to Depeche Mode they really help me focus and immerse myself in whatever i’m doing
Great work, inspiring too. The satisfaction of a job well is a great feeling! MUSIC::: I like what you're playing in your videos. If I have a task that requires thinking and either putting thoughts or numbers together I prefer instrumental music since it doesn't have lyrics that interrupt my thoughts (or foreign music with a language I don't understand, then the voice just becomes another "instrument"). But if it's something like cleaning, yard work, or whatnot, anything goes. Classic rock, jam bands, world beat, EDM, bluegrass, etc. Sometimes podcasts or just NPR. Science Friday!!
Amazing work. Now I know anything can be saved.
Exactly!
Yes getting a good adjustment helps a ton and also taking hot epson salt baths. I’ve recently put my pride to the side and began to pamper myself
Ur voice is changing. I bump, Twista, Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Three 6 Mafia, Tech N9NE, a little bit of Yanni. Lately tho, Hamilton. Nice beats btw. Fat hairball's. Dang!! Look at that dash. Nice work
I can't listen to things when I'm trying to focus on school work, but otherwise I'll have the an audiobook, TV in the background, or music (usually my last resort) Granted my most focused tasks outside of homework are cleaning and crochet, where I don't have to put a whole ton of thought in and my brain can really listen to an audiobook
2:06 you found the murder weapon! Tell Scotland Yard it was the chauffeur with the saber in the drawing room
Hey man, curious when you use your detailing brushes what solution do you use to clean interior. Is it just soapy warm water or does it have degreaser/multi purpose in there?
Thanks
Ben
i usually listen to my Liked Songs playlist and it’s just a mix up of songs from Deathcore to Stevie Wonder. I work as an amazon driver so a lot of my day is filled with music
I Enjoy Watching You Detailing And The Final Out Come Just Mind Blowing. I'm A New Oleans Watcher. Man Your Awesome.
To get myself in the zone at work in the morning it’s usually my Apple Music playlist consisting of 80s and early 90s OG hiphop ( big daddy cane, too short, etc) or Rock the Bells radio ch 43 on SiriusXM, or a SoundCloud playlist.
I work in classic car restoration and in detailing too I always listen to older music like eagles billy joel, elton John, bill withers, and the Beatles along with many other artists from that time along with some newer songs and some mexican like alejandro fernandez and pepe Aguilar
I listen to Russian covers of anime openings and classical whenever I'm woodworking
i listen to my favorite tunes and sometimes an self help audio book
I just bought a pair of Airpods and I detail cars for a shop here in Gainesville Georgia and I usually listen to deep house music like robin Schulz and Avicii and so on
Yikes. What a mess. Can't imagine what the exterior looked like. I hope the farmers house is cleaner than the truck.
its weird because theyre a podcast you wouldnt expect but the misfits pidcast is my go to
You know what’s funny about this? I’ve seen higher end cars just as dirty, if not more. I understand that this is a farm truck and you expect this. But when you own a BMW, Benz, Lexus, Infiniti, Maserati, or Bentley and looks just as bad as this featured vehicle, you have some serious issues. Coming from a former detailer.
I like to listen to music and podcasts! I switch as I change from detailing the exterior/interior 😂
I'm curious how you get these vehicles to detail. Do you advertise and someone just found you? Or do you reach out to people you know would need your services, such as farmers? I get that it's a work truck, but I'm always curious about people who leave trash in their car when they drop it off for you to detail. I'm sure it's a personality thing but you don't show up to the dentist eating a bag of popcorn, so I'm not sure why you'd show up to the detailer with your tools and trash in the seats.
Wouldve be easy to say you @staufer missed a spot but you define detail. Great work n well done
What do you do with the massive amount of personal items in vehicles like this? Do you box them up and let the owner put things back where they want them or put things back yourself?
1960's oldies, anything by John Pizzarelli, Diana Krall, Sherry Petta, Joey DeFrancesco or Mary Wells. Yep - I'm old ☺
Did anyone else notice the doggo when he said “As I get closer to the fabric…”
I always play John Digweed transitions albums when at work 👌 cracking dj, seen him on Friday night 😁😁😁
I listen to Lisa Harper Sermons when I work or worship music, great for the spirit and mind
Dude great job!. Can't wait to see the extractor.
Love watching your videos makes me want to do detailing more and more and it'd be an awesome gift if you did a giveaway for the homemade extractor
Wicked job! Thst person must of been so pleased
you can use a silicone spray to polish the plastic.it's been working for a few months.
Rock is the way to go if I’m detailing / polishing. Classical piano if I’m doing paper / adm work
I got a playlist when I am working at home but at my job I don’t get to pick what I listen to
Video game music! It’s written to be a background sound so it’s not too distracting and I can focus ☺️
Plus this detail turns out amazing only done in 6 hours. Plus can’t wait to see the DIY extractor built video on my birthday (11/28 Sunday)
80's hair bands when I'm pushing snow.
awesome work, what would you charge for a job like this? i couldnt imagine every detailing shop puts in this much effort
Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History
Usually listen to Level1Techs or VineSauce. Music wise if I'm working I listen to something relaxing like trance or synthwave.
Switched from DG to SG both got my support.
Haha same here bro! Both great examples of what an absolute professional at work looks like.
That's awesome bro inspiration is everywhere
👍
I listen to one of the focus channels on Spotify or the Vitamin String Quartet (string instrumentals of today's hits).
Smooth Jazz if I'm not in a rush and Jazzy House if I'm not in a rush but want to dance a bit at the same time!
When I need to focus at work I listen to Spanish guitar music!
Link your playlist! And two bears one cave and this past weekend get me thru work
I usually listen to some sort of trance/upbeat stuff. A lot of stuff similar to whats in your vids actually lol. Great job!
P.S. I LOVE my new Drying Towel! Best I've used hands-down 👍🙌
Rockabilly/Pshycobilly is what I listen to 🤘🏻
you are a big lad, you try hard, your videos should gain more views, you motivate people to be clean
Smooth jazz
When I focus on a task I listen to jazz or music from the anime Cowboy Bebop.
The irony of having to remove cleaning products from a vehicle you are about to clean
They might have been in the car, but it didn't look they got used, the car was disgusting🤮
Turned out amazing like always, hopefully one day you can give my g35 this amazing treatment haha
If your garage stays above 45, you should try using a dehumidifier to suck out the leftover moisture in the car.
When I'm doing detailed work requiring concentration (driving long distance, studying, etc.), I have to chew gum. Not sure where that desire came from but I always reach for some Wrigley's Extra - Sweet Watermelon flavor! I don't need to listen to anything in particular, just need the GUM!!!!!
