There is nothing quite like laying in the grass on a hot summer day, hunting and catching thermals and flying for an hour without touching the throttle. You should try it,its very relaxing.

Now that is a real work of art. It reminds me of the Kiel kraft caprice (you can still buy) I built as a teenager. No rc then, I threw it into the air as a test for cg and it flew up and away and I just stood dumbfounded as it rose above the clouds never to be seen again. That’s art not sh...🕊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️

one of my favourite things is relaxing while watching some of our local wedgetail eagles working the lift, sometimes just clearing the rooftops warming in the early morning.Another favourite is flying a glider when there's a bit of lift in the air.I know when my neck gets sore, there is good lift around. It is very satisfying when you actually realise the model is making height.

My first and only attempt at a balsa free flight (no radio) glider was launched on the Town Moor in Newcastle UK back in 1982. We watched it for hours as it soared higher and higher, it never came down and turned into a tiny dot really high! Moral of the story; don't make your first glider so bloody perfect that it flies away! We put a rudder kick in so it would circle on any thermal it found. You used to be able to burn a rubber band with a lit fuse (do modellers still do this?), we didn't have one on this maiden flight as I didn't think I could possibly make such a good plane that would fly so well. I lost a lovely glider but still wouldn't have missed it for the World, very satisfying. It may have landed down your way, or better still might still be in the air 38 years on! Tis a good hobby eh!

capt Blaz his mind is always in the bedroom, we must be brothers..lol That glider is good for Pilot Robert, no need to use his crooked hand to fly 👍

Nice glider! I've an eye on the Höllein INSIDE F5J, which is basically the same with a bunch more flaps on the wings 😍

M0rdH0rst same, but with 6 servos in wings. But I go with poly dehidral since plane reminds me on hyper Ava pro e from Vladimir models
