please make more tutorials like this for urban buildings, there's such a lack of stuff like this
Loved the tutorials! I have watched part 1 and it really helped me with understanding how to approach modularity and how to bake textures!
I couldn't believe that with just watching a video twice I could understand the concept and apply it on my own. You are truly gifted in teaching! :) I hope to see more tutorials in the future!
Great to hear! Sure I will try to make part 3 as long as my audience are willing to watch it .
Man, please continue this series of urban buildings... I am in love with your modular creations
Thank you so much . Welcome aboard.
I'm having an absolute blast with this series. I'm just glad I have a little Blender knowledge prior. Well done Sir. Every time I think we're done!!! WAIT we have more! can't have a building without Fire Escapes!
This is fantastic learned so much esp on the baking end always got lost on that
This is one of the highest quality buildings in any blender tutorial, and the fact that it is modular, makes it even more impressive, great work!
Wow, thanks! Glad you like it .
The title of the previous tutorial sort of made me sad because it didn't say "Part 1". Which kind of implied it was supposed to be one and only. And we are always sad when something really good comes to an end.
Please , please, keep 'em coming!
Haha, Thanks alot . Well this is the only way to know what my audience wants to see . If this video does it more than I am pretty sure you will get more .
just one tutorial and i new i had to subscribe, thanks for the lovely tutorials.
Awesome, thank you!
Saqib Hussain. Thank you * 2. One of the best Blender videos on the Net.
You are most welcome. Many thanks.
Creating the Normal & Alpha texture for the Fire Escape is a really eye opening approach and a wonderful example as shown in this tutorial. I've just finished mine and I'm really pleased with the results.
Of course some further tweaking is needed to close the top opening where no stairs is and to change the bottom stairs opening to an opening with a retractable ladder - which will be well within a persons capability if they can follow along. Many thanks..
Best blender artist I've noticed on youtube achieve realism in simple understandable steps thanks
Happy to help! Thank you so much for appreciating my work . Means ALOT to me .
You are just like a magician! What a simple and elegant ways to handle meshes :D
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely amazing! Glad to have found this channel
Welcome aboard!
Trim sheet work flow seems the best. Great tutorial.
It really is! Thankyou!
I love your ways and really love how you can optimize the scene! Thank you for sharing us your experience!
yeah , with these technique you can built a whole city inside blender.
Only thing you need to focus is how much you can optimize it to .
Dude, you're awesome. Brilliant tutorial! Thanks you so much!
Glad you liked it!
Really cools series of tutorials! I learn a lot with each minute!
Your method is best method for architectural visualization
Glad you think so!
Awesome workflow! Great to see a trim built in blender instead of substance. Would love to see a in depth walkthrough!
Thank you so much ! Glad you like the workflow.
Great job Brother.. keep doing such pro level blender tutorial...👍
Sure 👍 , thanks a ton!
amazing tutorial series! really helpful! thanks
You're very welcome!
Bhai pls make a tortorial on roads and side walks I was making a project for New York but I didnt know how to make the corner of the sidewalk
As usual great tutorial! Great work Saqib!!
Thank you! Cheers!
@@SaqibHussain88 Just small suggestion, when you do any short cuts , can you just tell us what buttons you are pressing on the keyboard. I'm new to Blender it will help me out and maybe other people who are still fresh!
Anyway great videos!
Dude so impressive how many years has it been since you started
7 years for blender.
@@SaqibHussain88 impressive it's been half a year for me now hope to get at your level 👍
People say baking is so great in Blender, I say marmoset is better however this thing that people consider baking in Blender is better for simple things at least. I actually like the notion of building textures from modeling. It was in the back of my mind but I never bothered. Think I will take up this tutorial hell I had no clue what some tools did nor even knew existed like the rotate tool. I am a transfer student from Modo.
so many cool techniques!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you very much!
thank youu !! i was waiting for this one
No problem!! Enjoy!
Brother you are just amazing
Yeah you to bro !
Awesome tutorial dude! But i still dont get why u had to delete the ventilation duct and then use a cube instead
This guy is ein Spengler. Und zwar mit Erfahrung.
Hi Hussain, @ 3:52 if you wanted to put a vertex in the middle of a plane/face in edit mode go to: Face>Poke Faces
Yeah, I know thanks.
Once again amazing tutorial
Ps. In edit mode under face option the is a poke faces option
Yeah I know , I could have done that . But thanks for the comment.
thank you saqib! great tutorial! :)
You are welcome!
Very cool. Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Awesome content. I hope you would make more techniques like this in using alpha maps on planes to create fake geometry, very useful for games. Does adding thicknedd or duplicating the plane create more depth to the alpha textures? Thank you
For that you can use parallax map inside gaming engine to create more depth to it .
It's amazing 👍👌
Thanks a lot 😊 . Hey I have seen your work . You have got really cool collection.
Bro can you please re create this same tutorial series with geometry nodes ?
Thanks again very much!!!
Any time! Thanks again.
keep em coming helps alot saqib bhai
Sure bro , Will be upload more .
Great job, i love your works, how long have you been using blender or in 3d in general?
Thankyou! I have been using blender since the end of 2013 . But If you say for 3d ,I think more then 12 years.
@@SaqibHussain88 thanks for the reply, its an inspiration to me as a beginner, soon I will join as a patron. I see a lot of potential I could learn from you. Thanks
Nice tutorial
Thank you!
what short cut key do you use when zooming to uv mapping @10:00 ,the whole uv window get full screen, so hard to work with very small window. i have to constantly resize the window.
Unfortunately I cannot get anything like this to keep textures exporting as FBX into a game engine.
Zabardast bro :)
Thanks bro
fantastic ! do you think you would know how to model ancient traditionnal ,japanese /chinese /asian buidings /temple .houses ? i never found something like this especially to model thoses curvy roof top ..just giving some ideas for future videos , keep rocking man :)
Bro :) You have read my mind there are ton's of ideas that I can show you . As an environment artist I also love to work on different era's buildings. The thing is it takes a lot of time to do research and side by side doing freelance it will be difficult for me to cover all the topics but surely I can try.
@@SaqibHussain88 No problem bro ! I mean think about you and your life first ,no rush ,it's already awesome that you put those videos out there ! thank you for that !
I agree, it'd be dope to see him approach more traditional architecture as well. In the meanwhile, have you checked the tutorial Gametextures made on the similar topic? It's very high quality, real-time, approaches with a modular, non-destructive workflow for creating a Japanese building with that curvy rooftop and uses Trim sheets as well, it's pretty much exactly what you're looking for lol

Great!
Thanks
I wish I found this earlier.
how come you have a clear UV map when you're unwrapping the side air duct at 15:15 ? did you hide the rest? because all my other faces are showing up from unwrapping the front part. also is there any need for the airduct AO? you didn't seem to bother using it..
yeah I Think unintentionally I did not compiled that part of it while I was editing the whole video . But the same process is done for that part too.
wow!!!
My 1000 Like
thanks
