I had to restart a mission in this galaxy once because I couldn’t see where I was and the camera wouldn’t f’ing move… The camera in both of the Galaxies are literally the same. They don’t want to move most of the time. Maybe it’s not quite as bad as 64’s camera, but tbh, Sunshine is the only one of the original three 3D Mario games (four if you count Galaxy 2) that actually has a good camera. And I don’t even like Sunshine-
I remember how much this level stuck out to me considering it was one of the more open world levels of the game

My cousins and I loved this level so much, we'd play it over and over again
