- Not going to lie, this Medicom Toy No. 115 Aquaman Mera Action Figure Turned out so much better than I was expecting it to. I ended up enjoying this review so much more than I thought I was going to and even though I didn’t take any pictures, I hope I convey that message well enough. I understand that a lot of people might not pick up this figure because of the issues surrounding the actress, but understand that this is an action figure. There is no point in leading how you feel about a person determine whether you want to pick up something for your enjoyment. Overall this is a great figure and I do highly recommend it for anyone that is planning on completing a justice league team. Besides, it’s not like anyone else is going to give us a figure of this character that will be this poseable. If that’s the case then we are going to be waiting forever. Remember, figure releases from this company always go up in price so if you are planning on getting it then make sure you hurry and pull the plug. Otherwise you might miss out on your opportunity. You're right Amber did a good job playing as Mera but if WB does recast her I hope it would be Emilia Clarke (already established chemistry with Momoa and plus that great acting skills). And that suit should be green bcuz it should contrast to her Red hair more not that blue chlorine look......
I don't know about that cancel culture thing. I'm honestly not down at all with figures looking like the people that play these characters. Me personally is a fan of these figures looking like the comic drawings. It's a personal thing as stated. To me that eliminates the horrible attempts at some face sculpts and keep them actors and actresses person life out the media. Hell it's based on a flip'n comic for now grown-ups that's watching these live action joints. There's ways to get around bs. But sadly people worship celebrities. And again it's just my take on action figures.

@@Sonic57053 I'm not simping, I just generally think she was a good casting for mera. If they recast her in the sequel it would feel weird, because she did a good job representing the character.

@@Sonic57053 I'm not saying she didn't do anything wrong, she did do pretty shitty things to our boy Johnny, but she lost the trial and is going to pay for what she did. But she will pay with however the court ruled. But we also have to remember, she is an actor and has to be able to live financially, same thing with Johnny Depp, its totally not fair that he got fired, but he will have a higher chance of getting a gig in another movie than Amber. My main point is that just because someone likes certain actors for certain roles doesn't mean they support whatever decisions they do outside of work, unless its murder that's always a no no. She lost the trial, Johnny is safe from torture and now they are going to live the rest of their lives apart.

It was always my desire and my intention to buy this figure nonetheless regardless of whether Amber Heard is a horrible person or not, I would still buy this figure in a heartbeat anyways and I would be proud to give her a home. I remember ppl saying they are gonna pass on this figure only because of who she is in real life

Its not unreasonable to not want her cause of the actor. If people can get her regardless of what the actor did than great. All power to them. But for those that dont want her cause of the actor i get it. The figure looks almost just like her and its like having a mini version of thy actor.

Um she should be recast because if Johnny Depp can lose his roles to the same studio that’s working on aquaman 2 might I add then she can as well it’s not cancel culture it’s called being fair so if he can lose it so should she and won’t be buying an abuser’s action figure
