Note, you are so lucky to find a woman like Flora, she is smart, confident, adventurous, and beautiful. Actually she has it all and what I like the most about her is her curiosity and open minded. You teach her a great deal of Thai cultures along the way in (almost) every episode. I can see she is very interested and willing to learn and explore more. So keep up the good music and thank you for the good work.
I may be a little biased but this is one of my favourite comments, thanks Andrew! (This is Flora btw 😂) I'm also very lucky to find Note, he goes out of his way to make me laugh and take me on these wild adventures. We make a good team together 😍
You should have stuck with 25 Note🤣 So sweet of you guys to care for the owl, I hope the precious baby is okay, it was so beautiful. Another amazing video🤗
Yes, 25 is much better! The owl seemed to be okay after he went into the forest, into the shade. It was a super hot day... I think maybe he was having a heat stroke.
12:52 that why I love Thailand. Time and time again, not a singular isolated incident but this is lovely Thai people. Sometimes coming from the west we think why are they taking away from theirs own business but I think that’s the difference in mentality not only about the price tag with people.
Very true.. it's not the first time this happened to us. Many times we get chatting with locals and they give us whatever fruit or snacks to take with us when we go. Lovely people, especially in the countryside :)
Another amazing video of Thailand - impressed with Chumpon area - lots to see - the Owl looked sad , I thought it was blind 🤔 - maybe a late night partying it lost it’s way 😄 - the look on the monkeys face 😂 - Thanks so much for sharing - more pls. 🇦🇺🙏👍
We were scared in the beginning too because he did look blind. Once he was in the shade, he started recovering quite quickly. Chumphon was wayyy more eventful than we expected 😂 Thanks for always tuning in, ANT!

Hi Flora and Note. Chumphon will now be a go to tourist destination now that you have brought it to the rest of the world. Love the Temples i always like checking them out, each one offers something different. Thank You. 🙏 😎 🇦🇺
Thanks Paul! We also hope more people will take time to explore Chumphon. It's typically more of a stopover province for people driving from Bangkok to the southern islands but it has so much to offer 😍

Beautiful video once again! Thanks for rescuing the Owl! That was very nice of you guys. I am a wildlife photographer and I love birds and wildlife more than people :)
We were surprised to see it on the road and even more surprised that it let us carry it to the shade. From your experience, do you have any idea why it was acting that way?
@@FloraandNote Good question. I have never come across an injured bird and don't have much experience why some birds act act like that. In this Owl's case, I think he was very thirsty and exhausted by the high temperature. That was a very smart move by Note to feed him water. Note can be a great wildlife rescuer :)
Yeah you could be right. It was super hot that day.. felt like 40C at least. We were so happy to see him get his energy back .. what a memorable experience 🥰
As a Thai living in the US, watching you guys, Lilly’s, and Paddy’s vlogs makes me miss Thailand even more. I also love seeing non-Thai’s perspectives on Thailand.. Hi Flora, I just left Myanmar and I am planning on moving to Ko Samui for the near future. From my reading it seems that Lamai is the ideal place to live for a lively place with charm. Would you have any other recommendations on where to live? Also, for at least the first week or two, I'm planning on getting an airbnb but I'm wondering if there's a better, more local way of finding a cheap-ish place to stay? Thanks and great video!
Hi Shakensparco, thanks for watching! In our opinion, right now Lamai area is not very lively. It is still beautiful but after a lot of expats/tourists left the island it's pretty quiet there now. We'd recommend staying in Bophut or Maenam area... there's more going on there and many restaurants/cafes are still open. If you join the Samui RENT BUY SELL for FREE group on Facebook, you'll find some affordable listings there. Good luck with your move! That's very exciting 🤩
Just Only Thai called "Pa-Tong Ko" acctually called "Aew-Ja-Kuai" since in the previous its sold together, and Thais people like to ate Ja-kuai but tough its called Pa tong ko then made people thought it named "pa tong ko" I beleive in Singapore and Malaysia, Hongkong and Taiwan as Chinese Hokianand Teochewstill called (Aew) Ja kuai (Yao ja Kuai in Cantonese) -* acctually Owl cannot see clear vision(close to blind) in daytimes, that's way its action like that's when you try to feed water
You're very knowledgeable about food history, are you a foodie yourself? I'm from Hong Kong and I also call it Aew Ja Kuai... but have to adapt here or else I won't get my food 😂
@@FloraandNote lolz, i have chinese descent, not a foodie at all, I'm 11th Gen of Teochew, my great-grandpa he hid coffee shop, Ja-kuai, pa tong ko, Congee, parboiled egg, this is what we sold when I was young,(I'm over 40 yr old), I realise that's correct, when I was young because, there have some people still called Ja kuai, when I help in the coffee shop. real Pa tong ko :ua-cam.com/video/xskj6tOcPl4/v-deo.html My city is oldest chinese migration in Thailand city "Samut-sakorn" named in Chinese 龍仔厝 main Dragon's son city something like that's normally this provice have mixed with chinese and local over hundreds years, noeadays full of Myanmar people here lolz Congee in Thai called "Joke" same as Cantonnese many of chinese food is became a Thai famous food as well such in the clip chiken rice, its Hinan food for example, "Ba-mee" hongkong noodle (eeg noodle), "kuay teaw" the white rice noodle from Teo chew for example
I love old style Thai coffee and Jok for breakfast with a little vinegar added. Just wanted to suggest that perhaps Note pronounce food names in Thai or in a subtitle. Example Chicken With Rice (Khao Mon Gai) so others can learn some Thai words.
Traditional Thai breakfast food is very comforting :) Yeah, that's something we're already trying to do. Maybe my pronunciation didn't sound Thai? 😆 Subtitles will help for sure.
@@FloraandNote My own pronunciation of Thai with some words is horrible. The words snake and stupid are almost impossible for me. Would love to watch Flora on a future show make an attempt at saying snake or stupid.
Hi Ken, we'd love to do that someday. We have to do a bit more research but we've seen some beautiful camp sites in Ranong Province. We have to get some camping gear first!
This was filmed in and around Lang Suan district. Some parts were in Sawi area and the temple at the end was actually in Surat Thani - just 10 minutes after we crossed the Chumphon/Surat Thani border :)
@@FloraandNote Thanks for the info as I am sure there is a train stop at Lang Suan. Just not sure how to get from there to the main city and the distance. There are some real hidden gems in that area I have never seen a single foreigner over the years.
Keeping a blog on things to do and see in Chumphon thought I had missed a place when you referred to that temple up on the mountain. On checking that temple is not in Chumphon but Surat Thani. Love to see how you treated the owl! My blog - chumphonplaces.blogspot.com/
Hi Kevin, you’re right! It’s in Surat Thani not Chumphon. We noticed it on our drive back to Donsak. It was pretty close to the border of Chumphon .. I think maybe 15-20 minutes? A cool little spot to check out.

Best khao man gai is in......Santitham just at the roundabout corner 100m away from nam tok moo shop 😁
We'll have to go try next time we're in Chiang Mai!
@@FloraandNote Chai !!
13:49 I believe there's a Praying Mantis beside the toilet door 😊
Maybe he was praying for Note 😂
@@FloraandNote 😂😂😂
Just Only Thai called "Pa-Tong Ko" acctually called "Aew-Ja-Kuai" since in the previous its sold together, and Thais people like to ate Ja-kuai but tough its called Pa tong ko then made people thought it named "pa tong ko"
I beleive in Singapore and Malaysia, Hongkong and Taiwan as Chinese Hokianand Teochewstill called (Aew) Ja kuai (Yao ja Kuai in Cantonese)
-* acctually Owl cannot see clear vision(close to blind) in daytimes, that's way its action like that's when you try to feed water
You're very knowledgeable about food history, are you a foodie yourself? I'm from Hong Kong and I also call it Aew Ja Kuai... but have to adapt here or else I won't get my food 😂
@@FloraandNote lolz, i have chinese descent, not a foodie at all, I'm 11th Gen of Teochew, my great-grandpa he hid coffee shop, Ja-kuai, pa tong ko, Congee, parboiled egg, this is what we sold when I was young,(I'm over 40 yr old), I realise that's correct, when I was young because, there have some people still called Ja kuai, when I help in the coffee shop.
real Pa tong ko :ua-cam.com/video/xskj6tOcPl4/v-deo.html
My city is oldest chinese migration in Thailand city "Samut-sakorn" named in Chinese 龍仔厝 main Dragon's son city something like that's
normally this provice have mixed with chinese and local over hundreds years, noeadays full of Myanmar people here lolz
Congee in Thai called "Joke" same as Cantonnese
many of chinese food is became a Thai famous food as well such in the clip chiken rice, its Hinan food for example, "Ba-mee" hongkong noodle (eeg noodle), "kuay teaw" the white rice noodle from Teo chew for example

Hi,Flora/Note- I haven’t seen you motorcycle camping, are there place for that type of camping ?
Hi Ken, we'd love to do that someday. We have to do a bit more research but we've seen some beautiful camp sites in Ranong Province. We have to get some camping gear first!
@@FloraandNote -that’ll be cool. I found you guys from Lilly expat and now subscribe to you both.
I Loved it
We're happy to hear that! 😍🙏
Niiice 👍🏻
Thanks for watching! 😍🙏
Sorry, I forgot to ask. Was this filmed also in the Lang Suan district or city?
This was filmed in and around Lang Suan district. Some parts were in Sawi area and the temple at the end was actually in Surat Thani - just 10 minutes after we crossed the Chumphon/Surat Thani border :)
@@FloraandNote Thanks for the info as I am sure there is a train stop at Lang Suan. Just not sure how to get from there to the main city and the distance. There are some real hidden gems in that area I have never seen a single foreigner over the years.
Yes we did see a train stop there. It’s about an hour from Lang Suan to the city. We have to go back to explore the city!
Your video make me miss my home
Thanks for watching! Are you from Chumphon?
So
You will have baby this year
WOW
Wait for good news
Haha we will see what life has in store for us 😂
Is Flora half Vietnamese? Btw, thanks for sharing, very wonderful VID indeed. Keep up the good work.
So happy you enjoyed it! 😍 I'm actually Chinese, from Hong Kong.
Jai dee 🦉👍
Khob khun ka ❤️
Keeping a blog on things to do and see in Chumphon thought I had missed a place when you referred to that temple up on the mountain. On checking that temple is not in Chumphon but Surat Thani. Love to see how you treated the owl! My blog - chumphonplaces.blogspot.com/
Hi Kevin, you’re right! It’s in Surat Thani not Chumphon. We noticed it on our drive back to Donsak. It was pretty close to the border of Chumphon .. I think maybe 15-20 minutes? A cool little spot to check out.

คนไทยหรือเปล่าครับ..
Yes, Note is Thai 😊
that's calamansi, flora
Ahh right, that's what it is! It's not common in Thai cuisine so it was interesting to see them use it there in Chumphon.
@@FloraandNote lime readily available in Thailand. Calamansi usually used as substitute for lime, although the flavour is different.
Note 真会瞎说 !😄
