Abu Dharr(RA) said, “My companion (Rasoolillah(SAW)) ordered me with seven things:
1. He ordered me to love the poor and be close to them,
2. and He ordered me to look at those below me and not to look at those above me,
3. He ordered me to keep the ties of the womb even if others didn’t want to,
4. He ordered me not to ask anyone for anything,
5. He ordered me to speak the truth even if it was bitter,
6. He ordered me not to fear, for the sake of Allaah, the blame of the blamers,
7. He ordered me to frequently say “laa hawla walaa quwwata illa billaah” (there is no might or power except with Allaah), for it is from the treasure from the treasures of Paradise.

No prayer can work for the dead. If while one is alive, he or she rebel against God, no amount of prayer will make that person be with God. on the other hand, if one has been faithful to God while on earth, he or she needs no prayer before being accepted of God. So my friend, no prayer after death.

I was literally crying when I heard about Abu Dar (ra) story. I first heard about his name, when Sheikh Khalid says he is one of his favorite companion of the Prophet (saw) from that time onward I got interested whenever his is mentioner

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُزَحْزَحَ عَنْ النَّارِ وَيَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ فَلْتُدْرِكْهُ مَنِيَّتُهُ وَهُوَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْتِي إِلَى النَّاسِ مَا يُحِبُّ أَنْ يُؤْتَى إِلَيْهِ Whoever would love to be delivered from Hellfire and admitted into Paradise, let him meet his end with faith in Allah and the Last Day, and let him treat people as he would love to be treated. The seven advices: 💖
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (RA) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa salam) said:
“My close friend (i.e. Prophet sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) ordered me with seven things:
1) To love the poor and to be close to them
2) To look to those who are less [fortunate] than me and not to those who are above me
3) To maintain the ties of kinship even if they break them off
4) To not ask anyone for anything (i.e. to abstain from begging)
5) To say the truth even if it is unpleasant
6) To not fear the censure of the critics
7) To increase in saying: ‘La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah’ (There is no might nor power except with Allah), as it is from the treasures that are underneath the Throne.”
(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 5 pg. 159. Refer: Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 263)
