  • DIY Project, Coffee table made from pallet wood, old mirror and scrap wood
Part Two : • Look into the abyss; P...
    ⏱️⏱️VIDEO CHAPTERS⏱️⏱️
    0:00 - Trying an interesting intro....maybe unsuccessfully :D
0:38 - Figuring out how to properly break down a pallet
2:57 - Making the wood I have work for me
3:56 - FINALLY starting some actual woodworking
7:40 - Putting it all together
9:19 - First attempt at glass cutting Super easy ...or is it? (foreboding much???)
This Coffee table Was built with free or scrap materials.
The Pallet was found on the side of the road, the mirror (and by extension glass top) was found on craigslist from an old bathroom remodel, they were giving it away for free.
The few pieces of wood I use were from my scrap/burn bin.
This Whole build costs less than $40, and closer to $20 if you only count what was used.

Time to make some zero clearance insterts. Also, a featherboard will help you.
Nice build. Looking forward to part 2.
You got lucky with the glass.

hahaha, on my first cut It definitely set my expectations for cutting glass as something that was super easy and simple.
the next two times I cut it did not go that smoothly, haha
Yeah I definitely need to make some, will take me all of 15 minutes.... I just need to do it and not be lazy....

      Hi Terry!
Hopefully soon, by the end of this week is what I am aiming for.
I am trying to improve my video editing (learning as I go) so each video I try to get better at one thing editing wise.
So even though the project was finished last week, I have an IQ of 6 when it comes to the editing portion, haha. If I'm lucky, it'll reach 10 by the end of the year.

Great. But bulb protection like in a real mine would be cool

I didn't even think of that.
I thought of a hood, but then it would be reflected top of hood then bottom over and over again- but the cover didn't even occur to me, that's a nice idea!
