Today is another comparison video and this time I'm going to compare MontBlanc Signature to Initio's Musk Therapy, two often compared fragrances that have a huge difference in price tag! so in today's video I'm going to compare them and tell you if they are really so similar and therefore you can save your money or not.

Mont Blanc signature is one of my fav scents
Really excited you did this video! I tried Initio Musk Therapy and I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist. There was an unusual quality to it, Definitely smells expensive. I did get a compliment the first and only day I wrote Initio MT.
I love your approach to reviewing fragrances. You give the most useful information. I really appreciate how you differentiate between how it behaved on paper versus skin. You provide a "real-life" experience to these fragrances.

Thank you for doing this. I just received Montblanc Signature a week ago and a decant of Musk Therapy. Musk Therapy was a wow at first sniff. Then I looked up the price and promptly said "No way!" It's over $300. So based on your review i will take a second look at Signature. It's a nice fragrance regardless whether it is a dupe or not.
Great review! I 100% agree with your thoughts. I had same experience on my skin with these. I have owned Signature for a while, and I have a few Initio scents. I recently got MT, and was truly underwhelmed. I glad I am not the only one who felt a touch sour laconic vibe from MT. Very short lived on my skin. Was hoping for a better experience but I will stick to my Signature :)

Haven't tried Musk Therapy, but I LOVE Signature - I find it very universally appealing. I can't stop sniffing my wrist whenever I wear it, it's very addictive and lasts an unexpectedly long time on me. Thank you for this comparison!

I gave a complement to a women at work, i asked her what perfume she was wearing because the sillage was outstanding I had to stopped her and ask her and she was wearing Montblanc signature😂
Looks like I'm the first man to comment here. ☺ Tested Musk Therapy yesterday - I love it ... as a man. My first Initio experience. And such a soft, cozy, creamy, heavenly-angelic "portable wellness" experience. Wow. I didn't know I would like such a scent, because my other frags are rather masculine. I have Terre d'Hermès and various PDM scents as signatures, and currently trying some new frags such as Musk Therapy. I wore Musk Therapy during an important meeting yesterday. I had completely forgotten about it, but I felt so good during this meeting. I guess it was because of Musk Therapy. Really love it. Couldn't stop sniffing it. And my wife loves it as well. I think I've got a great idea for a birthday gift for her (and for myself ... hahaha).
Thank for sharing! Since you liked Musk Therapy and you love PDM I think you would like more fragrances from Initio. My favourite is Blessed Baraka that gives the same vibe (not similar) of Carlisle from PDM. It's also unisex and when I wear it I fell like unstoppable 😊
@@mywaynoura Yes, I've heard that PDM & Initio have somewhat similar vibes, e.g. Oud for Happiness & PDM Kalan. Or Rehab & Layton? Could also be confusing ... But it's no surprise, as PDM & Initio are sister companies;-) By the way, I've recently ordered an Oud for Greatness decant, and am now waiting for cooler days to test it. I've heard OFG is "similar" to MFK BR540, and I hope it will lean more masculine.😅 I will definitely get a bottle of Musk Therapy. 🥰

@@mywaynoura it's not a dupe which is totally the point here, but I gave away my mont Blanc because I had Oriana and preferred it more.

I’m starting to think fragrance net sold me a fake Mont Blanc signature. I am spraying side by side Musk Therapy and they aren’t similar at all. Differences are the exact opposite of what you say here. I’m so mad at myself for offering from fragrance net.
I can't say about Fragrancenet, but I have to mention that some don't get the similarities between the two and some fragrances macerate and become slightly different with time. I sold my Montblanc Signature a while ago so I can't really say 🤷🏻♀️
@@mywaynoura I looked up the batch code and it was early 2020 & I see it was released in 2020 so I guess it was an early batch. I don’t know. I contacted fragrance net and they are taking it back to look into it.
