Great video. We can't open driver side door of our 2012 Tiguan from the outside, so we need to check and perhaps replace the lock. I had to pause the project to order the E6 external torx bit which is shown around 2:00 to 2:30 here. i will probably check in again later to let you know how it goes or to ask questions. one observation: removing the interior door panel with the window and door lock buttons (the step before what you see in this video) was more difficult than it looked on other videos I saw. it's done with pry tools but required quite a bit more strength than I expected.
