This was absolutely peak (real) progressive house, back in the early 2010's when deep, brooding emotion was flawlessly mixed with uplifting cutting-edge club music and trance... What an absolute gem it is to have this in our lives ❤❤ still listening religiously in 2023 so thank you Anjunadeep!
I have just driven the length of England (Cumbria to Kent, around seven hours) listening to the Anjunadeep mixes. This one in particular, featured a couple of times, and I could not have asked for better company on the journey.
Belong is one of those old school sounding, bringing back nostalgia feel tracks... What a compilation it was! Perfect for a gloomy rainy European weather
Fully and totally second this 🔥🔥 been listening Anjunadeep religiously since 2011 and it's definitely helped to shape who I am today, that is the power of meticulously-crafted deep melodic music! ❤
My other favourites on this mix is Da Funk 'Weekend Rubdown' and Electrobios And Liluca Feat. Interplay 'Depends On You' and Danny Loko 'Coastal' and Michael Cassette - Regatta and Soundprank - Captivated and Paul Keeley - Relic and Komytea - Algebra and the Last Track is really special too cause its got a very beautiful melody to it and the breakdown is lovely too 😎😎
The best anjuna compilation ever made! This album has so much feeling, vibe, and it's so SMOOTH! The music becomes a visual meditation nirvana and never relents in its intensity. The start of the CD evokes a journey through the stars of galaxies with an ominous early eighties like synthesizer background, then continues to bring 80s reminiscent tunes with cutting edge trance. I like especially how the first track smoothly transitions from galaxy journey to lovely looking lady getting her sweaty hot body rubbed down with get down tunes. Just makes you want to keep dancing, keep the vibe real. Bring back 2011! This album always brings me back to that awesome year in my life while I was listening to this album and experiencing life.
One of the most complete combinations... This disc and disk 1 are the best mixes of all angiona productions, in my opinion💙💙💙 Thank you for all these feelings
What amazing Mix and these tunes are so good and i love progressive and techno and not only that the wonderful thing about this mix is that all the tunes are really blissful and i like the way the mix starts all calm then the mix goes straight into the progressive side brilliant and thank you James for an amazing set of beautiful blissful tunes 😁 Great mix from start to finsh and that remix of Underworld 'Two Months Off' Is my favourite on this mix 👍
@@lantovenice 05-07 were very deep housey, since 08 the sound has been more progressive and trancey in my opinion. Also check out Boxer - Sun Kissed from Anjunadeep 12.
gave it cd to enouther Liston well not the cd but on you tube and mp3 like it but think cd one this one is beater maybe there the same this part one is deeper darker part to more up beat happy
@Anjunadeep Earlier label had a spirit & soul (this compilation is one example), now it has been lost with a new conception based on commerce. From 8th compilation my soul is less glad than ever before when label' boss was Mr. Grant. Sad.....very sad
I'm not in the camp of "everything used to be better", I don't like everything "that used to be", but I prefer the sound of 2008-2011 Anjunadeep to what's happening right now. I know, "evolution" and everything, but what's happening right now doesn't even sound that "deep" to me to begin with. Let's call it something else, at least.
I feel the same. I'm not entirely sure it was just marketing though. At 05 Jody Wisternoff replaced Jaytech, while I do not dislike him (Jody), I think that was the inflection point...
The new anjuna stuff is pretentious, over conceited dogshit, anyone that says they dig it is lying to seem trendy, o4 was the last decent album. I haven't bought it since. Bring back the days of James Grant and jaytech

did a 1 month long road trip across Europe and this was on reply that year in 2013
I think this is the darkest mix of all the anjunadeep volumes and i fucking love it!
Anjunadeep 07 is very dark in my opinion
Such an apt point. Grant shines on the dark side of melody when this techie Jaytech is his partner!
Yeah, you have a point ☝🏻 @@HalcyonDaysRadiate
I still remember listening to these tracks on my 6am bus ride to school in the dark, way back in 2013. Definitely a favorite
what a time
Same here brotha. Late lonely nights 🌙
Childhood memories. Such a perfect mix from start to finish. A soundtrack for daydreaming. ❤️🙏
Jaytech such a powerhouse of house... given the saturation, it isn't easy to stand out at his level.
Colin Fisher - Captivated ❤
What a beautiful melodious upbeat progressive track, feels so much Nostalgia 🎉
This is probably the tightest mix out of all 9 albums. Well done James!

Two of the greatest Anjunadeep tracks ever on just one CD! Rift and Coastel (EK remix)
EK's mix of coastal gives me a boner everytime

sigh... there's always these "everything used to be better" fans. both this and 08 is fantastic music. you can appreciate both.
