I think people are really under-estimating ETH. My largest position by far is Solana and would love for it to flip ETH but i just don't see it happening. ETH still offers benefits over Solana and these two ecosystems are almost opposites in many ways...some good and some bad.

The living expenses are increasing only 1% per year, not the 7% shown at the top. Interestingly enough, it is calculated correctly in the “How the model works” chart.

Considering the adoption rate, firedancer implementation by September/October, i’d say that Sol below 600/700 USD would be kind of depressive (despite the already brutal rally from 8 usd to 200 usd). Check the Eth chart from the 2 previous cycles, and put it against the Sol charts…it’s a copy/paste version. Sol will lead this bull run and will not stop at 363$. Sit back and enjoy…
I’m in Thailand now and $1500mo today is only doable if you live in the countryside away from big cities (boring farm towns where everything closes at 8pm). Retirement visa requirements are $25k yr now but only 50yrs old. So not sure where you got your numbers James. To live well in Bangkok you need $2500mo today but if you don’t want to compromise lifestyle then you can have everything for $4kmo in city center, Chiang Mai is cheaper maybe $2kmo now but note the city has the 5th worst air pollution in the world for 2-3months in the burning season so figure a looooong vacation during that time. Pattaya is in the middle of those two but it’s sin city so I don’t think many western women could handle it. Then if you want a Tesla to drive factor in the 270% foreign car import tax 🧐 But I know Porsche sports cars are far far more superior cars so thats what I drive and yeah the prices are high but they are more reliable than electric cars, last forever, and hold their value unlike EVs. I’m just clarifying because I’m already here and I’m also in the car biz professionally my entire life 😊
Solana is great but there are certain things in DeFi you can’t do if the chain goes down , they get that fixed and implement firedancer then Sol will do great. But the argument ETH has so much use and high fees so no one uses it 🤔 that doesn’t fly ETH is here to stay and L2s are very cheap

I sold my 504 Solana coins at $145 each and used the funds to buy 435 Tesla shares, I hope it's the right decision in the long term, after this transaction Solana soared and Tesla tanked, well , it is what it is.
BTW my average cost for Solana was $ 15

We all feel the same. :( I really thought I still had a year at least to fill it, then it pumped out of nowhere like that. Still had a decent amount, which I still have, but I wish I put my entire savings in there loll. I would be in six figures by now... Now I'll content myself with 5. xD

I think there is an error in the country-specific charts. The living expenses are increasing only 1% per year, not the 7% shown at the top.
Interestingly enough, it is calculated correctly in the “How the model works” chart.

363 USD as a bearish scenario? That’s kind of super bearish. Actually, considering its adoption rate right now is actually a depressing scenario. Considering the adoption rate, firedancer implementation by September/October, i’d say that Sol below 600/700 USD would be kind of depressive (despite the already brutal rally from 8 usd to 200 usd). Check the Eth chart from the 2 previous cycles, and put it against the Sol charts…it’s a copy/paste version. Sol will lead this bull run and will not stop at 363$. Sit back and enjoy…

I’m in Thailand now and $1500mo today is only doable if you live in the countryside away from big cities (boring farm towns where everything closes at 8pm). Retirement visa requirements are $25k yr now but only 50yrs old. So not sure where you got your numbers James. To live well in Bangkok you need $2500mo today but if you don’t want to compromise lifestyle then you can have everything for $4kmo in city center, Chiang Mai is cheaper maybe $2kmo now but note the city has the 5th worst air pollution in the world for 2-3months in the burning season so figure a looooong vacation during that time. Pattaya is in the middle of those two but it’s sin city so I don’t think many western women could handle it. Then if you want a Tesla to drive factor in the 270% foreign car import tax 🧐 But I know Porsche sports cars are far far more superior cars so thats what I drive and yeah the prices are high but they are more reliable than electric cars, last forever, and hold their value unlike EVs. I’m just clarifying because I’m already here and I’m also in the car biz professionally my entire life 😊

Solana is great but there are certain things in DeFi you can’t do if the chain goes down , they get that fixed and implement firedancer then Sol will do great. But the argument ETH has so much use and high fees so no one uses it 🤔 that doesn’t fly ETH is here to stay and L2s are very cheap
