I see a family crisis. The same people posting selfies and spending 100's on hair and nails and sneakers are related to every one of these people. The family is in crisis
Businesses have no responsibility to allow non customers to utilize their restrooms. To allow non customers to do so is a liability and a safety concern for their actual customers. The CITY should bear that responsibility not private citizens. Solution: a PUBLIC facility with showers and restrooms.
Katherine, my daughter is on those streets. I believe she is mentally unstable and on drugs. We take up what we can but police tell us we can't force her to come home. You can help my husband and I by contributing to our effort. We have time but no money to keep taking food and clothing. Another thing to do is write to the city officials. Let them know this situation is not right. ✌️💓🙂
I got here for vacation and went out at 11pm figuring I could grab a bite at a local spot. I was really shocked. Hardly anyone was out, just a lot of people strung out on drugs. Smell of urine on the streets and a few tricks with guys hosing down the street. I was naive thinking San Antonio was a safe tourist hot spot. During the day has been better but you can still see some junkies.
