It still blows me away that this kind of technology exists, I dreamt of this when I was a grommet. A wavepool has been approved in South Oz, so I can finally experience it first hand after all these years.
I know right, same here.. when I was a grommie I would dream about them upping the power in our local swimming pool. They had a wave machine that didn’t really break, just ripples. Never would have imagined we would have stuff like this. Hoping one day they can get through the red tape and make a truly beastly pool. Fronton style 👌
@WeBodyboard_Official A Fronton style pool would be absolutely mental. I'd imagine the insurance would be crazy expensive. Everyone would probably have to sign death waivers I'd say.
Really amazing experience! And for me the most incredible is that, from the moment you paddle for the wave you totally forget you are on a pool- the wave has lots of power for its size and for us bodyboarders is just perfect!!!! This was my first session and looking forward to do it again, and again 😂

Thanks John!! Actually pulling an invert was my main goal!! after a few Ars I got the time and manage to nail two good ones- the first I went too high and got stuck on the lip, and then made this one to complete the mission 🙌 but it’s very fast and trickier than it looks on videos
@@danielbassanesi5237 I remember how tricky it is from when I was full time boogie twenty four years ago. That’s why I was so impressed! So much strength and timing, skill, ability, necessary to do what you did. Full points legend. Keep ripping!

Yeah my goal was to maneuver, as most of this pool videos are mostly tubes, what I actually find very boring to watch
