I was a teenager when this song came out, and I've probably heard it a million times. So last week my wife asked me to play this song on my drums. I should add that I was a touring drummer from 1986 until 1991 in a metal band - we played all over the US. Not small change stuff, but not the big time, either. So I've got a "just a few" years under me. Needless to say, in watching this video you've pointed out to me, very well I must add, what I was playing wrong. So now I'm going to go back and play it correctly! You're a helluva drummer! BTW, I watched your Heat Wave drum cover of the old Martha and the Vandellas song. I couldn't find any sheet music for it and wasn't totally sure of what I could hear on the hi-hat with the shuffle. It's what I thought it was, but man are you smooth with it! I can still play Iron Maiden, Slayer, and Megadeth. But, I've always loved the classics, too. Keep up the killer jammin', you've got a new subscriber!

It's a great pleasure seeing you posting new things on your channel! You're an extremely skilled artist and we can feel, from your videos, the passion you devote to playing the drums with such a perfection. Thank you for your amazing performances!
Welcome back bro!!! So glad to see you posting covers again. No more home on wheels? :-) Excellent cover here, loved it. Do my eyes deceive me or have you set up your ride cymbal to be an extra hi-hat?
Hello! Still rocking the home on wheels, a friend has let me set up the kit in his shed and jam when I want to, no extra hi hat, all the cymbals are cymbals this time...because everything works! Last kit the cymbals were slowly dying one by one 😂 I got this kit second hand as well but it was in great condition, I think the guy was like those types that wash their car every few days to keep it sparkling...still getting back into my old groove at the mo but it’s all coming slowly back 🤘
@@MrGenedancingmachine nice! Love your groove, it's inspirational. Since u been gone I have added a VH-10 / hi-hat stand to my TD-6v set after watching your stuff, feels so much more natural playing, loving it! Also recently added a couple splitters to the inputs to add a dedicated cowbell(Roland BT-1) and put the old little hi-hat cymbal up as a splash cymbal. Looking forward to your posts bro, great stuff, good to have ya back!
