    The xylem and pholem together are called the vascular bundles or vascular tissues they help in transporting water , minerals and food in the plant hence are thenforth called conducting tissues as well .
    Xylem helps in conducting water and minerals in plant and it gives mechanical support to the plant in xylem there are majority of cells are dead except xylem parenchyma which helps in storage these dead cells help to give support to the plant .these are xylem fibres composed of dead cells,tracheids and vessels which are also dead
    Pholem is also yet another permanent tissue which also gives mechanical tissue to the plant because it has pholem fibre. That are dead and also it helps in storage because pholem parenchyma is present

    Xylem helps to take the water and minerals from root hair to other parts of plant and pholem takes the food from the leave as sucrose and when ions get high so the water gets at low amount so the water of xylem goes to phloem so the food can go easily to any part of plant

    Sir I have a question
    .........
    Water transfer in plant from one cell to another cell by osmosis when one cell uses it's water and takes water from it's lower cell ...... But xylem is a dead tissue and it's sure that cells are also dead and their doesn't occur any function and water doesn't used by cells so how can water transfered from lower cell to higher cell

    • @mohinigawali6059
      @mohinigawali6059 Рік тому +1

      Osmosis is dependent on concentration also
      So maybe by concentration difference it takes place....

      @@mohinigawali6059 I have already write it that concentration difference takes place when one cell uses it's own water in it's different processes
      But the xylem is dead tissue so their is also dead cells which doesn't use water so how concentration difference takes place

    • @rioowosama1545
      @rioowosama1545 Рік тому +1

      I think there is no osmosis here but actually diffusion becuz diffusion moves higher concentration to lower concentration and can happen in non- living too .

    • @BashirAhmed-sk6gm
      @BashirAhmed-sk6gm Рік тому

      It doesn't matter diffusion or osmosis both needs concentration difference...

    Sir i have a doubt:-
    how does transferring of materials in phloem increases the osmotic pressure of tissue?

    • @rioowosama1545

      Becuz with transferring of materials the ion concentration of pholem increases means water concentration decreases due to which tissues close to it with water concentration higher get into the the pholem hence here we can see osmotic pressure
