I’m a medical student at UNC and let me tell you: this is a REAL virus. I’ve personally seen patients develop emphysema and other lung pathologies. My own volunteer coordinator at Church got the virus and has been isolating at home. Whenever I hear people saying “it’s not that bad” or “it’s fake”, it makes me almost cry in sadness.
