I read her book and loved it and it inspired me to start my own business after I suddenly lost my job. I loved this interview so much. Get the book! Be your authentic self and just go for it!
I really like this interview because self-doubt is a real problem for me. I'm the kind of person who doesn't feel comfortable rocking the boat or making others around me nervous or alarmed or uncomfortable or whatever. Everybody I know does ordinary jobs. And the thing I've always wanna do is totally badass. I started out studying ART - a no-no. Then dropped out of college - another no-no. Joined the army and saved up money for audio engineering school to work in a recording studio (a no-no) - and got pregnant without being married - another no-no. And here I am in my 50's and making MINIMUM wage! I started reading Jen's GREAT book and it really talks to me because it's so REAL and I can relate. Anyway the part that got to me in this interview was where lots of times her clients just want her (or someone) to give them PERMISSION. And that's me. I'm always so timid but it's painful to be so timid when I have so many creative things I want to do. I've been working on an outdoor arena design that is TOTALLY awesome - and would provide lots of creative jobs for people like me - people who like to dance, do music, lighting-design, design souvenirs and concessions and all that AWESOME stuff. If I were going to be a real BADASS and say it bluntly - it would provide jobs for HUNDREDS of people. - GOOD jobs. The part where Jen said that not letting our badass-ness come out and blossom and affect the rest of the world in a positive way is... kinda mean. THAT got to me. My being timid about it and trying not to annoy anybody was in REALITY, being mean. Why? Because I'm worrying so much about the comfort of a handful of friends/relatives who surround me - and at the other side, just THINK of all those HUNDREDS of people (creative people) who are missing out on awesome jobs because I won't get off my ass and break outta my shell. By the way, I started reading Jen's book today and it's really good. It's not the same as other books - all lightness and happiness. It's more real. Just the drama of what she has to go through every day is something I can REALLY relate to.
How's the arena going?? I'm legit curious, I just started reading one of Jen's books a few days ago and I'm hooked. I would like to know if someone has been succesful with her advice.
Just finished reading her book and it broke me right in two. Like it took a wrecking ball to my reality and kinda annoyed me. I love it because that’s the comfort zone that just got wrecked. It was the kick in the ass that I needed. Jen wears steel toe boots by the way, and she pulls no punches. Tired of feeling sorry for myself, I even gave up weed after reading her book, ive given up excuses! Literally 20 mins ago was my wake up call, wish me luck people, Jen is the master!
I am so grateful that I borrowed the audio version of her book from the library. She narrates her work perfectly and with such verve! I have listened to it several times to try to truly 'get it'.
I love this video. As a new coach I really appreciate her message at the end (around the 30 minute mark) about the value of charging what your worth and not discounting your price. To discount is counterproductive to you and your client.
Thanks to Jen : I'm at that point where I'm SICK of being effing broke! Feeling cornered and ready to put the gloves on... Besides recently buying her book, but also watching her bitchin' UA-cam videos among other things. She's such an inspiration and motivator. THANK YOU for a start to some serious clarity and cat-like ninja fighting to get out of this corner! :-D
Reading a few comments after watching this as I always do when I watch something interesting on UA-cam..... I didn't even notice that there was music in the background .... I had to go back to see what the music was ! Came here cause this lady, AprilAthena7 was talking about it in one of her videos
I love Jen Sincero! Ive been listening to all her audiobooks and its great to have a face that goes with the voice Ive been listening to omw to school and free time.
I never heard of this guy, but he is a very good interviewer. Of course I love Jen! I’ve listened to her book, You are a Badass, 3 times in the last 12 months!! For the first time in my life I consciously started focusing on money!! I Believe it’s going to work in my favor!! It IS working in my favor!!
I have been seeing Jen's books s lot of places I go lately (or noticing them). Great how she made herself stand out in a fairly crowded (self-help book)market.
CoffeeLover yes! I've bought her book and given it away a few times. Yesterday I went to the bookstore and asked for it and the lady went to the aisle in front of us and picked it up. I was shook
I bought the audio book, listening to this for the 3rd time. I hope to do my own UA-cam channel, and applying the principals I learned from your book, I believe and have faith I’ll be successful
23 min you just changed my life Jenn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg I love you I should give you at least $5k for that piece of information because I've heard that 9 million different ways and this was the time that it clicked! ❤️❤️❤️omg I fucking LOVE YOU!!!!
I made it to the end. Some good gems as always. I didn't notice other people's comments on the background music til after. Those of us who are audio learners get distracted when there is too much audio input.
Sorry about that guys, the original broadcast wasn't as punchy but because of how I had to record it, the upper ranges seemed to have gotten emphasized. It was an awesome talk though, hope you were able to enjoy it anyway.
I agree. I'm a musician and I'm really judgy when it comes to music, and the background music is really awful. I got over it though. @19:44 she's says something like, "how important is it to you?" That's how I got past it- the information in the video was more important than being distracted by the crappy music. I kinda wish they put some of her punk rock music behind the video, but that probably would've been even more distracting!
Reading Jen's book "You Are a Bad Ass..." right now. Really enjoying it and her writing style. ;) I barely noticed the music until I read the comments by the way. ;) Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I was focused on how clear and crisp the cinematography was. Would like to know what type of camera was used to film this.
It's not funny when you go into debt to try something that's not a guarantee and it doesn't work out.. Then you can't make the payments and the banks take your House off you! This Book is complete Rubbish and dangerous advice. Beware!
Music is the back is actually a strategy to have people concentrate better. This is the wrong kind of music. I’d go for Lofi. But people it’s nothing new... I can almost guarantee every UA-cam video with a talking head has background music. Pay attention next time hahah SOURCE: I am a videographer and a video editor
Knock it off who cares about the music you're not paying attention to what she is saying. Leave your ego at the door and listen to the words meatballs - this chick is a legit bad ass. Boli
I think its a bit dangerous to be encouraging people to go into debt since we all have completely different mind sets and situations and not everyone is ready to take that type of a plunge without repercussions. Sometimes diving right in is what some people need and some people will fall to the bottom if they dive right in. I think if there is something you want really badly you can also manifest the money to make said thing happen versus using debt to make it happen. That being said getting into more debt has pushed me to make more money than I ever did before. Ive also seen people crash and burn from the debt they created.
Please please please stop playing really generic & corny music throughout literally the entire interview. It’s just so bad. Seriously... SO irritating and difficult to listen to. I almost never leave negative reviews but I promise you: the fact that you’re playing music, and such bad music at that, is evoking more negativity than this review.
Not to be rude.. But you obviously had some way to do it... By using a credit card.... But what if you cannot even do that?.....& You REALLY DO want to get a coach to get the help you need?......
she articulates everything in a way thats so easily digested I love her
me too..she is the best
I read her book and loved it and it inspired me to start my own business after I suddenly lost my job. I loved this interview so much. Get the book! Be your authentic self and just go for it!
And how did things turn out for you?
I like her. Good vibes. Seems sincere, and caring, and no bs.
She expresses what we all feel, but she got over it and shows us how.

You get what you focus on! Focus on the music you miss the content!
Lynn Ferguson lol
I focused. Now I have second hand Ford Focus
Focus on the comment and miss the content 😂
I am so grateful that I borrowed the audio version of her book from the library. She narrates her work perfectly and with such verve! I have listened to it several times to try to truly 'get it'.
Love this interview. So authentic and real. Love her books. So specific and helpful. With gratitude. 🌻🦋
I love this video. As a new coach I really appreciate her message at the end (around the 30 minute mark)

Excellent point. The music really is distracting. It's too bad because Jen Sincero has some great things
to say and her book offers some good advice.
Thanks to Jen : I'm at that point where I'm SICK of being effing broke! Feeling cornered and ready to put the gloves on... Besides recently buying her book, but also watching her bitchin' UA-cam videos among other things. She's such an inspiration and motivator. Any significant changes/improvements in your life since reading her book?

First time to watch her talking, but I like her already. I feel that we're connected. We seem to be sharing the same mindset.
I never heard of this guy, but he is a very good interviewer.
Of course I love Jen!
I’ve listened to her book, You are a Badass, 3 times in the last 12 months!!

How does this not have millions of views?!?! Amazing, life-changing content!!
Love Jen Sincero! The background music on this video is killing me though.
I made it to the end. Some good gems as always. I didn't notice other people's comments on the background music til after. Those of us who are audio learners get distracted when there is too much audio input.
thank you so much Jen!! You truly are an inspiration in my life.
Got the book. Got the audio book. I'm a badass!! Jen's ace, love her way of explaining. :)
Love how Adam conducted this interview and what can i say about Jen !❤
Oh that's not me, that's Michael Neimand, I just uploaded the video a while back :-)
Packed like lemmings into shiny metal boxes! Sting, in 1984
I wanted to listen to her but the music distracted me so I just watched a few minutes. Lesson to be learned.
the background music is awful
turn down the volume and turn on your CC button. It reduces that annoying music.
Sorry about that guys, the original broadcast wasn't as punchy but because of how I had to record it, the upper ranges seemed to have gotten emphasized. It was an awesome talk though, hope you were able to enjoy it anyway.

If you watch it on faster speed, you don't notice the music.

CoffeeLover
I agree. The message is .What matters. Not background music.
I didn't notice the music until I read the comments below. Now I can't unhear it!! lol Great interview otherwise though.
Right! I only noticed it because of the comments, but I found myself listening to the whole thing and forgot about the music entirely.
loved this! "going back to your why" bless!
It's not funny when you go into debt to try something that's not a guarantee and it doesn't work out.. Then you can't make the payments and the banks take your House off you! This Book is complete Rubbish and dangerous advice. Beware!
Brilliant ❤
I’m not a Beachbody coach and I luv her concept and her book!

It's like the music from The Greatest Showman for the song From Now On lol anyone else get that vibe?
Love the book!
Helped me a lot.. Thank you🙌🏽
I love Jen.
I loved the talk.
But what is it with that music..???
It's so hard to focus ☹️
I knew she was doing Abraham! 🙌❤️💪😬
Yup lol as soon as I heard that. And she said vortex I'm you are a badass lol
Good interview and this music is not working..
why do you have music in the background?
Dare to be great take this bad ass for real
OMG!!!!!! YES!!!!!!
The interview is hard to listen to with background music.
Can’t believe I bought this shit
Music is the back is actually a strategy to have people concentrate better. This is the wrong kind of music. I’d go for Lofi. But people it’s nothing new... I can almost guarantee every UA-cam video with a talking head has background music. Pay attention next time hahah SOURCE: I am a videographer and a video editor
For those of you interested in Meditation... Buddhify app helped me tremendously. 3 bucks, wise investment.
Temptations song- Ball of Confusion.
Knock it off who cares about the music you're not paying attention to what she is saying. Leave your ego at the door and listen to the words meatballs - this chick is a legit bad ass. Boli
Adam is a great interviewer and I love Jen Sincero. But the music should have been removed. Still gave this a "Like" of course.
That music is a totally unnecessary distraction - I can’t listen to this
Thanks for the compliment! It's not me though, this is Michael Neimand. (I know you commented this forever ago, I just saw the comment now)
Jen, I'm like you, please hire me.

Dies anyone know how much does she charge as a private coach?
can someone repost this without the music???
Love Rose it was broadcasted with the music.
SHOCKING!!! Ruins the whole thing - why?!!!!
This!!!!!!
Harold Melvin Blue Notes- To BE Free, who u are song.
Why the music in the background?
why a soundtrack?, adds nothing, detracts harshly.
I’m ‘reading you are a badass’, this lady sounds like an older lady I know and I’m starting to feel some type of way. I don’t think she wrote this.
Hi jen, i love you. Abdul
FUCK YEAH
Video and film making 101, never play music throughout a 40 min interview. Hard to focus on the interview which is disappointing
Exactly - what a nightmare
Great women wooow
wtf lol, y'all ..when you go grocery shopping, do you focus on the music or buy the food on your grocery list lol come on, dont miss the message.lol
I can’t listen to this. The music is far too over powering, even when not focusing on it. A shame as Jen is brilliant.
Me neither
I think the music in the background is so annoying
What is that distracting background music - terrible
Get rid of the music!!!! Can't listen to this because of it, which is very disappointing.
The inspiration music is to much lol 😂 and distracting as fuck
I can't believe they have this terrible music playing.
Please please please stop playing really generic & corny music throughout literally the entire interview. It’s just so bad. Seriously... SO irritating and difficult to listen to.

I love Jen, but this interviewer was not getting.
Jen’s awesome but Really? Turn the music off please. New video editor? Annoying.
Pyramid schemes are so toxic. I really like her but damn.
Wat? 🥴
