Despite the original not being the best 4K transfer this set looks stunning. Art cards/ booklet would have made it a 10/10 from Disney. Still a very very nice set. Great video James, I really enjoyed this unboxing.
Excellent video James. Loved it mate. I also got this set, and it’s an awesome set. Watched the first movie for the first time today, and really enjoyed it, but It was definitely a little overhyped for me, but still liked it nonetheless, and I’m really looking forward to checking out the sequel’s.👍
What I want to know is, why did Europe get Pirates of the Caribbean 2, 3 & 4 on 4K, but America didn't? Why is it that here in America, we only have Pirates of the Caribbean 1 & 5 on 4K?
What an awesome looking set, thank God for the plastic holders 😁 As much as I love these films, I am gonna wait for the price to drop, as I think £75 is way too expensive, 4K or not. If it was 40 or 50 quid, I'd consider it.
So have they not fixed the 4k transfer of the first film? Is the Blu Ray of the first film the correctly framed version also? Really nice set! Ill be ordering regardless🤣
So i bought this set for myself. All the films look great with exception to the first one. If you do not have Dolby Vision enabled then the transfer is not overly washed out or dark…With Dolby vision on it looks even worse. It still needs another remaster regardless. The Blu Ray counter part looks amazing however, it is the original 2007 release which is not framed correctly.
I also hate the packaging where the discs slip out. Thankfully I managed to get all of Breaking Bad in its individual season releases for only a tenner total.
There is a complete series of breaking bad boxset which is in a white box on bluray with Walter White on the front and the discs are split between 3 plastic bluray cases. Sadly I have the set where you have to slip them out.
Dont buy it if its not a new transfer. Look online, these films have the worst 4k transfer and might as well keep the blu ray versions. I think people dont realise this
Love the marvel spines on shame quotmanina and guardians 3 this year ugh but hey it’s going to be save shelf space like I got my iron man captain America and Thor movies so phase 4 movies slips are good
I’m confused as I bought the same set. But mine is not in a nice package like this. It’s a small package with the five discs and what I would call flip disc holders if you know what I mean. Is this a steel book edition or something?
A nice enough solid box set but for the money I would have liked the 3D editions of 4/5 and the bonus discs of 1-3 also included. I’ve not seen the transfers of 2-5 however the first and best is one of the worst 4K transfers ever! For that one I’d watch the Blu-ray.
I’m not fussed about 3D but agree on the bonus discs. They would have been nice. I watched the first film in 4K last night and have to admit the transfer wasn’t very good. I’ve heard the others are good though!
@@moviebug8405 I borrowed the first one when it came out individually from the US from a friend who said it was so bad I could keep it. After I checked it out I agreed it was bad so gave it away. Maybe you could do a video review on the others.

I love it but Pirates Of The Caribbean was my favourite franchise of all time alongside MCU, Salazar Revenge was my favourite film and it good movie on my opinion

Completely agree. A little book would have made it the 10/10. But yeah I watched the first one last night and it wasn’t the best transfer.

To be fair I think it’s very good for the price. The packaging itself is really nice and it’s a fantastic peace for the collection

Unfortunately the first films transfer isn’t very good but 2 was very good so I’m guessing the rest will be fine.

Ive heard the transfers are really not good. Especially the first film which is the best film so il just stick to disney plus for now.
