@@WeeNiallYT mr Fingers used a steel drum synth for that track . Kerri used either a bell or cello syth and tweaked it to sound like another instrument. mr fingers synth was to compressed and sound even worse when he re-vamped the track in 92. Kerri is actually playing this himself. besides Larry heard used the synth after Blaze did on " If you should need a friend" and took it back. these guys blew 93 out the box . Larry literally changed his whole sound by 92 .

@@timafiggy Actually, while you might be on the right track with Kerri (Since IDK what he used.) Larry Heard only used a Juno 60 and TR-909 when making 'Can You Feel It?' (Which is what this is somewhat based off of). If you listen to old interviews from the early 2000s and 2010s, he talked about having limited material to work with. By 92, when he came out with 'What About This Love?' is when his sound had changed completely, possibly due to 'more money/more equipment'. As someone who had parents who grew up in the heyday of Chicago house music (and lived/was born there), this is something I can passionately say I know cause of research and prior experiences from the old-school. You can also try and argue that Kerri may have re-sampled the original in this track just by listening to 4:05-4:15 and hearing the choppage. That's just my speculation, I could be wrong. Kerri is quite known for resampling records in his trax before.
@ I was mostly talking about the main synth not the secondary .btw he did the synth for the dee dee Brave track " Cant get over it " back in 1989. Gotta hear it.
