Here's an idea, Isaiah Wynn has LT/RT versatility. And he's been underwhelming in New England's system.. You can get him rather cheap, and have the flexibility to draft the best available tackle in the draft at LT or RT, so you can allow the rookie to play their purest position, because theres a bunch of lefts and rights in the draft too, and then play Wynn at the opposite spot. Find your future starter at 1 tackle position, and have a veteran presence at the other, and not spend significant money at either, for now.. That allows you to spend money at edge, wr, or wherever Veach feels necessary
To me LT is the most important because it’s Patrick’s blindside so safe that for someone you really like and take care of the RT position with someone that plays at a high level. Ideally you want high level players across the O line from L to R so Patrick has the best protection possible because he’s the best QB in the NFL. A lot of other franchises are finding it difficult to run with KC because they haven’t taken care of their QB ASAP as a consequence they can’t build a good team to compete with the Chiefs. Anton Harrison LT OU?? I also feel like they’ve been looking for a DT to put next to Chris Jones but haven’t been successful thus far with a similar build and skill set to help collapse the pocket even faster. Khalen Saunders deserves to be paid because of the major step forward in his game last year. We need a young and hungry nose tackle with some push Nahdi doesn’t have that anymore in my opinion.
