I'm the same too, so do my brothers, but i have heterochromia. One of my eyes is in between red and blue(caused by albinism) and the other one is ashy gray. My brothers all have ashy gray eyes like our dad.

Genetics is a lottery, there's a Korean dad with a white wife on insta whose kids model and the children have blue eyes.
Both parents have to posses the blue eyed gene for that to happen. So his mother must of had distant European ancestors.

Came here after watching the video of him sexually assaulting and physically brutalizing his ex girlfriend....dude didn't know she had cameras in her house. And then after leaving her concussed and bleeding, sent her texts afterwards trying to play innocent ("I think I heard you screaming. I hope everything is okay.") like a complete psychopath. He's been arrested.

Not any more. He was arrested for sexual assault of his ex-girlfriend. Not one of those he said, she said things.
He forced his way into her home. Luckily she had a surveillance camera. The whole brutal assault was recorded.
She tried to hide in the bathroom and call the cops. He busted that door down. After she told him that the cops
were on their way, he ran but soon later he texts her 3 times making it look like he was not there. That's pretty
much the end of his career and life in Korea. Most likely there will be prison time. Not sure if he has dual citizenship
but he won't be able to live in Korea after being release. He'll probably have to give up his Korean citizenship, go back
to the states, but with a criminal record now, I'm not sure how all of that works. I didn't believe it; I thought it was just
some crazy rumour until I saw it on the news. Still kind of in disbelief. You can never really know people these days.

I had a half Korean friend who had hazel green eyes, but yeah they definitely didn’t look as light as Andre’s eyes
Came here to say the same thing, his eyes are so unique. Usually it’s the brown eyes that are inherited since they’re dominant alleles compared to blue eyes. So his eye color is really rare.
Looking at his appearance, the recessive genes from dad is strong lol. Mom's Asian genes got no chance at all 😅 Like if I don't know who he is, I would just have guessed he's 100% Caucasian.
I think there is pretty high probablity that his mother could have ancestor with blue eyes herself. She is very tall (175) for Korean woman from older generation. For blue eyes are responsible recessive genes so generally both parents have to pass it to child. That's why they are extremely rare among mixed people in first generation.
My late father is Korean from Mokpo. Family legend has it that his great grandfather on maternal side was Dutch merchant sailor on business in Southwest Korean trade route. My dad was tall with wavy hair, big eyes and Western nose. I plan on having my DNA tested. 😅

Andre Jin is a famous rugby player, the guy in the middle (Taepoong) is a famous basketball player in Korea and the last guy on the way left (Julien Kang) is an actor and model who played the role of many American guys in kdramas despite being French-Canadian. All of them share the trait that they are half Korean.
