@Captain Steve Markovich was evacuating Florida from a hurricane a few weeks ago and while evacuating, he stopped long enough at MCO to get in some spotting and upload. That's dedication. You can always throw on another layer and warm up.
This sucks. I have to watch this on my phone but your work is so good I need to watch it on my TV. Okay I'll be back next week when I'm in front of my TV again
The snow always does something magical to the light conditions. Stunning video Gopher, a nice mix of widebodies and narrowbodies and excellent camerawork as well. New sub to the channel, looking forward to the next videos.
@Gopher: Great mash-up. Def trying times for YVR, YLW, YYZ, and many other airports this past week. Ugh. Here's a shout-out to all the frontline staff (airlines and airport) attempting to assist all those stranded passengers. As well as to those great folks who work in the elements somewhere out there on the airfield keeping things moving. Merry Christmas from YLW.
Love your videos and I watch them all. However I noticed that you are only keeping plane captions on for 3 seconds. That is too short of time to read the whole caption and watch the plane as well. Maybe 5 seconds would do.
Great footage - very eyetrapper-esque, even down to the banner info. Gotta say: the "Snow Chaos" title is a bit of clickbait...there was absolutely no chaos shown here - just normal boring routine arrivals. The audio feature is nice, but can you filter out the irrelevant frequencies? If showing just North side arrivals, we don't need to hear South ground/tower and Departure frequencies.
@@yvrgopher Yes, I'd like to see that proposed post. Lugging all that gear up the dirt hill from your car must not be fun. And sadly, I only anticipate another 2-3 years of public access to that side of the airfield before YVR develops their north lands. Thank you for that reply and keep shootin'.
Imagine being at temperatures below 0 and recording a plane spotting video for the entertainment of others. Now that’s dedication

Wow absolutely beautiful! You deserve much more publicity!
Absolute butter from the first 777! Very nice!
Best video quality I have ever scene plane spotting. Fantastic clarity and colours.
fantastic !... really enjoyed watching
I especially love the new Air Canada livery. Looks awesome! Thanks for the vid!
Thank you for video in tough conditions

the last few hundred feet of each landing are incredible - the reflection and colors are amazing!
Awesome video man!
That first 777 was butter on landing! ✈️
Love the new font. Crazy that Air Canada CRJ still had deicing fluid on it after flying from San Diego!
Thanks for the support and feedback man! Lots of fun to be had. Hoping the snow returns this winter for some more 😁
Magnifico. Vancouver sure is pretty in the snow.
Loved your vid ❤❤❤❤
Great video
Greetings from Western Australia 🇦🇺
Awesome video 😄
Great video! YVR looks lovely in the snow, but all the cancelled and delayed flights are less so.
Its full white everywhere...beautiful video ❤
Merry Christmas 🎅
13:46 like how the United made a little bounce.
This is some beautiful footage!
Well done 👏 mate
The snow is absolutely beautiful! I need to go plane spotting somewhere where it snows!
@@yvrgopher that would be awesome!!
wow nice footage

Nice 👍
love this, thank you!
How do you obtain the audio records?
Great video, new subscriber :)
P.S. Do you know eye trapper? I just noticed some similarities between you and them, loving it
Better than eye trapper...not as many ads either

The second plane (737 MAX 8) was lucky to not get hit by those 2 birds
Snow chaos..? Not in this video. Nnnnnope! Great video and good info tho. That 787 is a well-engineered plane... you can just see it.
hey nice video, just wish the infographic wouldn't disappear so fast!
@@yvrgopher nice, looking forward to it 🍻

Anyone know why that West Jet 737-700 retracted their spoilers so fast during the roll out?
Is it just me or is the 787 at 12:15 missing the spiral on the right engine?
@@yvrgopher Thanks!
I think Air Canada put "butter landing" for their pilots requirements.
So many Flights are Cancelled for ice and the cold in airports like IAH DEN LGA SEA MIA and YVR.
@@yvrgopher you're welcome

Do Air Canada and Westjet pilots know how to land in the snow or what?

@@yvrgopher Cheers, and again, your footage is crystal clear! Do you pan on a tripod with a DSLR, or...?
