It's crazy how 2NE1 was only active for about 6 years, but their discography is so huge and full of hits after hits. This proves that YG has really gotten lazier. Obviously, they can produce, but after Big Bang went on hiatus, and 2NE1 disbanded, every one of their groups who've debuted after have failed to produce consistent comebacks.
I think one factor is Teddy's music is becoming obsolete now. He is the only producer/songwriter for all current YG artists and i think he is getting burned out that's why the quality of the songs he had produced lately are kind of meh and sometimes he just gives out recycled or unreleased songs of previous artists to the current artists so he don't have to work too hard. YG needs to stop relying too much on him for everything and let the artists create their own music like Big Bang. Besides they already gave him a sub label so let him concentrate on his own label and allow other people to help those artists.

All the YG artists are gems, they are crazy talented. Even if they have only one comeback in one year, the music they produce never fails to amaze listeners. I think it's management's fault, management don't understand how to support artists, this have become worst especially after Bigbang's hiatus.

That's REAL badass, not just a concept. 99.9% of disbanded kpop groups are afraid to pull off a reunion on a worldwide festival like Coachella 'cause of the trauma and probably their former company's empty threats. 2ne1 did THAT, while the former ceo of that company was being interrogated in court. Iconic.

Personally, I think 2NE1 end happened because of YG mismanagement. Instead dealing Bom's case properly, YG just stay silent and let public opinions went uncontrollable. After that YG just shaft away the members like broken toys. That time YG should've let Minzy went variety shows like King of Masked Singers when the show at its highest, and gave CL her proper solo. Should've put Bom in therapy for her PS addiction. Then slowly build momentum for 2NE1 comeback.
2NE1 entire discography is just hits after hits!! Remember how in their later tours almost all of the songs they sang have hit Top 1 at some point!! Kpop is not complete without them..
Maybe 2NE1 didn't get enough recognition and views on UA-cam but there is noone who can argue against their flawless discography and immortality in the KPOP history!
It's amazing how 2NE1 releases an album with 4 to 6 songs and most of it if not all are hits everytime. All of songs they sang are hits, and 2ne1 only had 2 full albums and 2 mini albums in their whole career.
